Zabeth Teelucksingh is the president of the Global Philadelphia Association (GPA), a nonprofit dedicated to promoting Philadelphia as an influential World Heritage City and as a vital, diverse center for global affairs. On May 28th, World Heritage Day, from 1pm-3 pm, GPA will host a closing reception event for World Heritage Month, a month-long, citywide celebration of a city's global identity and multicultural communities. In the United States, it is most prominently celebrated in Philadelphia, PA, which was designated the first and only U.S. World Heritage City by the Organization of World Heritage Cities. This event will take place at Philadelphia’s City Hall building, at 15th & Market Streets. Zabeth joins the show to talk about GPA's upcoming closing reception for World Heritage Month.
