Zac Goldsmith On The Environment

We took the opportunity to talk to current Environment and International Development Minister Zac Goldsmith (soon to be Lord) on all matters environmental. This included discussing the opportunities Brexit could bring in terms of positive environmental outcomes, to what had the Conservative Party ever done for the Environment. We discussed issues ranging from plastic waste to how people who want to see peat removed from gardening products could try and influence Ministers. The issue of tree planting was touched upon, as was 'consumerism' and what that meant for the planet, including the controversial issue as to whether having less children could be seen as a positive in terms of environmental outcomes.
