Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon and Dune 2 are both PG13. Good move or bad move?

Will the film's PG13 rating take away from the grittiness or will the Watchmen director push the limit of what PG13 can be. Dune 2 also has been rated PG13, this is not as surprising as part 1 was also of the same rating. The SAG strike comes closer to an end, at least we hope.
