Zahid says no to Umno-PAS pact in N9, Syed Saddiq remains a free man

He said discussions between the two parties were only informal, with no seat negotiations finalised despite PAS President Abdul Hadi Awang claiming talks were progressing. Zahid also warned that PAS could change its stance, based on what he described as past experiences with the party. Meanwhile, the Federal Court has upheld Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman’s acquittal over criminal breach of trust, misappropriation of property and money laundering charges involving Bersatu Youth funds.
