First Thing is First | The future of South Africa is in the hands of our youth, many of whom are living with little hope; and yet they are filled with potential. However, South Africa is currently faced with an unacceptably high unemployment rate among youth who make up 35,7% of the population, of that percentage, 8,5 million (41,7%) youth are Not in Employment, Education or Training (NEET). Orange Farm is due to become a hive of inspirational activity at the beginning of October during the EmpowaYouth Transformation Week… The question is ff the youth are our future, how can we shape and better prepare them for tomorrow’sopportunities in a relevant way?
