Zegras Deal Leaves Flyers in Limbo | Philadelphia Flyers News

Flyers’ Trevor Zegras deal stirs buzz—but it’s a surprise, not a statement. With 67 points last season, he’s a scoring threat, but not a center. Philly’s defense and face-off woes make him a wing asset, not a centerpiece. The real problem? They lack a true No. 1 center. Contending? Only if they pull off a blockbuster trade—or wait for stars like McDavid or Matthews to become available. Talent’s there, but the puzzle’s still incomplete.
