Summary

"Zep Tepi" is a re-do of a track I produced back in 2009 for a guitar lesson product package at the http://JFRocks.com website. Originally titled "Doomsday", "Zep Tepi" has an other-worldly vibe with its sparing use of the Locrian mode to create its mood. This combined with the guitar tones, which are both up an octave and down a partial octave all at the same time give it a unique feel. The real selling point of the track is its almost 70's rock groove and feel. For this new version 10 years later, I added new drums and bass. But the core guitar parts are the original versions. This new version really cranks, far more than the old one so it's worth blowing some speakers over for sure.. This new version will be used on an upcoming TV pilot, and that's why I updated it. The producers have generously allowed me to share it here online with you guys.. As always enjoy.... and CRANK IT UP!!! Way up for this one.
