为了配合张国荣2000年《热·情演唱会》，2000年7月1日，香港环球唱片发行了张国荣的粤语专辑《大热》的CD。此专辑同时发行3色不同封面。这是张国荣生前发行的最后一张专辑。本专辑在香港蝉联数周IFPI销量排行榜冠军，张国荣凭此碟荣获2001年第1届雪碧中国原创音乐榜千禧全国成就大奖，同时获得2000年第18届十大劲歌金曲致敬大奖。其中同名主打歌由张国荣作曲，节奏强劲的舞曲风格突出了“大而热的爱情”感受。稍显怪异的编曲和躁动的节奏型给人造成一种紧张的气氛。背景音乐体现了危机的到来，歌者的演唱代表着爱情，这两种音乐形象相互交织，将音乐推向高潮。当爱情的冲动来临时，哪怕是天掉下来，也埋葬不了这份激情。

Accompanied by the creative tracks of a number of gifted musicians, his first album Hiiyaaaaaaaaaaa inspires imagination and finds a way to impress with a unique vocal sound, compelling harmony and gripping melody. The lyrical content is in fact a living reflection of this artists emotional journey that followed leaving love, finding a new love only to lose love once again.
