Roundtable is launching a mini-series about China and the US. Instead of focusing on bilateral ties, we are going to start from smaller things. Today it is what people in the two countries think of the other country, on a generalized level. There are already wide contacts between the two countries. In 2014, China-U.S. passenger trips reached more than 6 million. An annual increase of 15 percent is expected in the years ahead. However, do people in China and the U.S. really know each other?
