Ziad Obermeyer: A physician, academic, McKinsey alum's approach to tackling bias in AI

Ziad Obermeyer is a Professor of Health Policy and Managementat the UC Berkeley School of Public Health where he conducts research at the intersection of machine learning, medicine, and health policy. Previously, he was a professor at Harvard Medical School and consultant at McKinsey & Co. He continues to practice emergency medicine in underserved parts of the US and is also a co-founder of Nightingale Open Science, a computing platform givingresearchers access to massive new health imaging datasets.
