Zlatovlaska With the Golden Hair | Fairy Tales

This fairy tale tells the story of Yirik, a kind royal cook who accidentally gains the ability to understand animals after tasting a magical snake. His jealous king discovers this secret and forces Yirik on a quest to find the beautiful Princess Zlatovlaska with the golden hair. Along the way, Yirik performs acts of kindness towards ants, ravens, and fish, who later repay him by helping him complete three impossible tasks set by Zlatovlaska's father: finding scattered pearls, retrieving a lost ring from the sea, and fetching the Water of Life and Death. Despite successfully bringing the princess back, the treacherous king kills Yirik, but Zlatovlaska uses the magical waters to revive him, making him even more youthful, while the greedy king meets his demise trying the same trick.
