Zohran Mamdani "The King Maker"
from The Mike Gallagher Backstage Pass Hosted by Salem Podcast Network
Not one—but three—candidates backed by New York's democratic socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani just swept their Democratic primaries . A socialist takeover of the Democrat Party is happening right before our eyes, the likes of which we've never seen. All three victors have vowed to "abolish ICE" and "tax the rich"—and they've all accused Israel of genocide . This isn't just about politics anymore—it's about a movement that's openly hostile to the Jewish state and its supporters. Meanwhile, antisemitism in New York is surging. Just this week, Congressman Dan Goldman, a staunch pro-Israel Democrat, lost his primary and got retroactively banned from a Brooklyn coffee shop that called him a "genocide enabler" . The Department of Justice is now investigating the shop for discrimination—but is that enough ? When a sitting congressman can't buy a cup of coffee without being publicly shamed for supporting Israel, and when socialists are sweeping primaries on an anti-Israel platform, you have to ask: Is this the new normal for the Democrat Party?
