Ennek egyik plenáris kerekasztal beszélgetése a helyi közösségek vízmegtartási kezdeményezéseiről szólt. Sürgős és gyökeres szemléletváltásra van szükség a magyarországi vízkezelésben. A jövő kulcsa egy határokon átívelő, ökoszisztéma-alapú, természetes folyamatokhoz igazodó megközelítés, amely a víz, a biodiverzitás és az (élet) közösségek védelmét egységben kezeli. Mindebben kiemelkedő szerepe van az alulról jövő, helyi tudásra építő vízőrző kezdeményezéseknek, amelyek közösségirészvétellel segítik a víz megtartását és a táj regenerációját. De kik is azok a VízŐrzők? Hogyan bontottak zászlót és hol tartanak ma?
