Zolgar's Comic Chat: Beastars

Murder? Interspecies romance? Tensions between herbivores and carnivores? Zolgar talks about Zootopia... no that's wrong. *checks notes* Beastars, Volume 1. Released in 2016, a mere 6 months after the kid-friendly Disney animated racism analogy, comes a darker more mature manga set in a similar world. The similarities stop at the surface though, as Beastars explores the world in different ways.
