Whats making news on the African continent today we zoom into South Africa as the country moves to lockdown Level 3 the most significant opening up of the economy, according to Trade and Industry Minister Ebrahim Patel. South Africa moves to Level 3 of the lockdown from Monday and government says it will open up all the core productive sectors of the economy these include sectors in manufacturing, mining, electronics, furniture, finance and retail. On the line to economist Siya Biniza he is also the Executive Director at PESA a political economy think tank focussed on regional integration
