SAfm — Former president Jacob Zuma wanted Siyabonga Gama appointed as Transnet CEO. Gama was fired by the board last month following allegations that he may have acted unlawfully in the deal involving the purchase of locomotives. This has come out at the State Capture Commission of Inquiry where former Public Enterprises Minister Barbara Hogan has been testifying.
