Born in San Sebastián, raised between the Basque Country and Seville, and now firmly rooted in Manchester, DJ Zuri has built her sound by moving through the world with open ears. We sat down with her at the Area 3000 studio to talk about learning to DJ in just a week under the wing of a female mentor she deeply admired, why a residency is the best DJ school money can't buy, and how listening to jazz and classical music keeps her club sound fresh.
