Welcome to Trouble aFoot! This podcast is a community for people dealing with Charcot Foot and other foot challenges.   I'm Wayne, and this show shares stories, support, and practical ideas to help people feel less alone on this journey!

Heater is getting ready for her reconstructive surgery and isn't afraid to tell us that she is afraid.  Heather realizes that there are so many people out there in the world that are currently feeling the same way.  She wants to let people know that they are not alone.  Support Heather and get on and talk about your life with fellow Warriors!   Soon, we will be hearing Heather's story about her run in with Charcot Foot and Diabetes.  Her caregivers want to talk to you, too.... along with YOUR support team.

A VERY interesting way to start what the kids call a “SUDE HUSTLE”  something that you can do while on disability (just report any income to the social security office..PLEASE) working from home.  Charcot Warriors Unite! No promises are made of ANY income stream.  It’s all up to you.

This is a re-release of the very first episode of Trouble aFoot! BEFORE the show even had a name!  I was very eager to get things started. The episode was lost during the addition of SPOTIFY to the list of platforms.  I finally got it back. I added a short introduction and closing, but the episode itself is exactly how it was originally recorded. From 2024,  This is where everything started.

Caregivers are vital in most of our recoveries. Being non weight bearing is VERY difficult.  My wife was, and still is, my guardian angel.  Email me if you'd like to thank your caregiver on the podcast.  Feel free to tell us all about whoever is helping you get through this nightmare.

Carol talks protein powders!
