S4 E4: Going Childless Pt. 2
100% Unfiltered Season 4 ft. Gabby Gierbolini! This episode is the second part to our topic of discussion which is if a women's life complete by having children? We have a mix of thoughts! Lucy, Gabby, and I have different opinions on having children and what we plan to do in our lives however, we all have come to an agreement that having a child does not define a women's life. The gift of baring a child does not validate or define a women's worth. Tune in to listen to our different perspectives and if we choose to have children in the near future. We also had some off-topic conversations on marriage, cultural pressure to have children, and how society influences or "glamorizes" the realities of childbirth. Sometimes, the media will cover up the real health risk and emotional struggles women go through when pregnant. On the other hand, an unplanned pregnancy will change a women's life and give a new purpose of motherhood. Becoming a new mother can even save a women's life by redirecting from a dark path into a new light. So with that being said, it really depends on the person and situation! Do you disagree or agree with our thoughts? If you want to share your ideas on Going Childless let us know by sending a voice message or by visiting our website! S4 E2: Big Boys Cry
100% Unfiltered Season 4 ft. Christiano Martino! You can buy Christian's merch on his website: El Barrios Streetwear Toxic masculinity affects a man's mental health due to them not being able to express their anger or suppressed sadness in a healthy manner. We need to learn to let go of that fear of being judged by society and live our lives to the fullest! I personally believe that women are afraid of men because of toxic masculinity. Sometimes when you catch yourself in an argument with a buff man, the fear of getting punched in the face is in the back of your mind. However, if you are someone who has some anger issues, listen to Christians thoughts for ideas on how to express that anger in a healthy way. Christian is a man of god so his faith has helped him cope with tough times in his life. Perhaps, starting a spiritual journey for yourself is a great option and it has defiantly changed my life as well. S4 E1: Cutting People Off (Pt. 2)
100% Unfiltered ft. Lucy This episode is the second part to an episode in season one. Lucy and I discuss how we stop negative people from draining our energy and lowering our vibration. We both agree that it's much harder to end a friendship over text than in person. Lucy is definitely much more sensitive when it comes to ending friendships because she cares about people's feelings a little too much. On the other hand, I will put my own mental health over someone's rude comments thus, my sensitivity for a friendship ends when someone crosses the line. There is no right or wrong answer on how to end a toxic friendship, the important thing is to always take care of your environment. It's okay to do some spring cleaning once in a while ;) If you want to share your ideas on Cutting Off Toxic Friendships let us know by sending a voice message or by visiting our website! The Feeling of Getting Lost
100% Unfiltered Ft. Lucy Have you ever gotten lost in a new school, a bus stop, or in a new part of town? Social Media has made it more easier to know what's going on in the world. Today we have the privilege to open up Snapchat and find out what's in and what's out, who is going where, and how things happen. There are pros and cons to utilize a phone to get an A+ on a test you didn't study for or investigate something that interest you. But what about the feeling of adventure you get when you figure things out on your own?

Human Connection is a Human Right
100% Unfiltered ft. Lucy Today's episode we discuss our thoughts on Human Connection (aka. dating, love, friendships etc). We talk about Dating for Adults on the Spectrum, inspired by a reality TV show on Netflix called "Love on the Spectrum". As humans, we naturally crave human connection through relationships with people. Romantic relationships are the most popular form of human connection-- they make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside but we believe that we can still satisfy our needs with positive family relationships and friendships. You don't always need a boyfriend/girlfriend to feel good about yourself. However, that doesn't mean that you are a bad person for wanting to be in a romantic relationship. Overall, all humans of different sexualities, physical appearances, or mental states deserve human connection. We also discuss our favorite people in Love on the spectrum, awkward dates, and other Netflix TV shows we enjoy watching.

Unisex Fashion
100% Unfiltered ft. Lucy We should all agree by now that fashion is art. Crazy Instagram outfits, drag queen costumes, and celebrity red carpet looks in my eyes is art. We are so used to seeing women wear anything-- but when will we expand a man's closet and have it be normalized? Today's episode we discuss Harry Styles recent Vogue photoshoot with the 'feminine' dresses. His photoshoot is fabulous! We discuss our opinions, the beef it started on social media, and what people are doing on tik-tok to stand up for unisex clothing.

Gender Equality & Abortion
100% Sophie ft. Lucy Lucy and I were both born into a generation that already had strong beliefs on all types of equality. We were never racists, we never believed women were second class, or thought gay people were going to hell. We always saw people as people. Today we are going to talk about our thoughts on Gender equality and Abortion. In the podcast, I said that I didn't like it when someone labels me as a "feminist"--- and I meant to say feminist with a negative connotation. Sometimes, feminism gets a bad wrap and we are generalized as 'angry women' but that is not true at all! Our main point about gender equality is we don't label ourselves as 'feminist' because we believe that today in 2020 women have an equal chance to gain any opportunity just as men--We just got a new women vice president! Growing up in the 2000s & 2010s we see girls staring in movies, women not afraid to speak their minds, and celebrities like Zendaya or Taylor Swift who are vocal about women's rights. I guess we were trying to say that we never felt that men were 'above us' or women were 'above' men. However, it wasn't always like this... Well, just because we grew up in an equal environment to men, that doesn't mean we can't participate in feminism. I don't see myself as an angry feminist and I don't hate men. I would give myself the label of a chill feminist. The reason why I would label myself as a chill feminist is because If I ever meet someone who ignored my rights, I wouldn't kill them or hate them, I would just ignore the hate and become successful anyways. That is my mindset on all activism: Ignore the hate & succeed anyways. If someone fired me from my job because I was a women-- I wouldn't cry over it or start a strike, I'd just get a new job because time is money and I have bills to pay. Anyways, I hope my perspective on women's rights and activism make sense. I love women's rights (human rights in general) I support it 101%. I also love the history on women's rights it makes me happy.

Mental Health vs. Good Grades
100% Sophie ft. Lucy Season 3: Episode 5 The start of digital learning has been very stressful. After countless hours of studying and no progress, it's hard to say that we enjoy this 'new normal'. I am not a person who gives up on something just because it is hard so throughout this online learning experience, I have always tried new ways to learn material by myself or new mindsets to approach things. All I can say is some days are easier than others. Lucy and I discuss cheating group chats, messy teachers, and busy work. We don't encourage cheating even in this pandemic but sometimes... you gotta do what you gotta do to survive. One big struggle Lucy and I have in common is: this semester hasn't been about learning-- it's has been about survival. Our main concern is we do we a lot of work and not enough time to actually learn the material. On the bright side, the new digital leaning experience has given us room to grow and practice time management skills! We have to keep in mind that this shift is just temporary.

Our Thoughts on Food
100% Sophie ft. Lucy Season 3: Episode 4 Lucy and I are two different people when it comes to food. I love eating clean foods, grains, veggies that make me feel good and energized. Lucy-- on the other hand loves chips, cookies, candies, and fast food-- there is nothing wrong with that! Today Lucy and I are going to talk about our eating habits. Personally, I avoid all unhealthy food-- not for the clout, simply because junk food does not sit right in my system. We decided to record our different opinions on food. If you are looking to get into cleaner eating, I also talk about how I started to swap foods from my usual unhealthy favorite snacks to a better option. The biggest reason why I avoid unhealthy fast foods is because of my acid reflexes. I don't have anything sever but I am sensitive to foods such as lemons, oranges, or green apples. A lot of people tend to look down at me for choosing to eat healthy. Some people may think choosing to eat healthy makes you look spoiled/full of yourself. My sister thinks I'm dramatic for not eating hummus instead of Mayonnaise. Other times people have thought I was being difficult whenever everyone wanted to go to McDonalds and I didn't want to eat McDonalds. This kind of criticism never ever got to me because I know what my body can handle. You should not let people tell you what you can/can't handle--- or what you can and can't eat. If you love cake, eat cake, girl. If you avoid cake at all cost, do that too.

Being famous in 5th grade
100% Sophie ft. Lucy Elementary school was wild for us. Teachers had no chill, little kids did whatever they wanted, and the food was gross. There was a huge difference in priorities I had from other 5th graders in my class. Some girls in my elementary school classes prioritized One Direction or middle school boys. On the other hand, the only thing I cared about as a 5th grader was getting to the bathroom on time (because our class was in a trailer). In this podcast, we also talked about the crazy-ass teachers we've encountered at school.

Livin like Larry
100% Sophie ft Lucy Ever since high school started I've been on a long journey to put down my phone and live more in the present. In this episode, Lucy and I talk about my experience in breaking an unhealthy habit. I have also noticed a positive boost in my mental health ever since I decided to limit myself on my phone. Recently, I've been very open about my opinions on social media and why I deleted my accounts, etc. Once I stopped using technology there was more room to relax or try out new hobbies just for funsies. This topic is always being brought up on multiple occasions so here's my input--enjoy :D Larry the Lobster is shook right now.

Are you addicted to your phone?
100% Sophie In this episode, I wanted to start a conversation on the dangers, symptoms of phone addiction. I see people wasting their best years staring on phone screens and there needs to be a stop to that. Using a phone for more than 6 hours a day is not healthy at all. Some of the evidence that I shared, may be used to indicate if you or someone you know is addicted to social media/app games/phones in general. We should have guidelines for the usage of a phone if 68% of teenagers in a high school today are addicted to cellphone use.
