Life's a review with Cyan
Our conversation with Cyan Carey is a delightful chat about her life and recent experiences. A talented artist who's graduated and thriving, she shares her creative inspirations and process. She gives insights into her life in Chicago, from city adventures, baked goodies, hot spots, hot tonks, and of course, city rats who know how bounce on it crazy style. Cyan, with her Sagittarius sun, Capricorn moon, and Gemini rising, is steadily rising to the top, proving that while she may have left btown, its spirit remains with her. We reminisce about past memories, beefs, and sweet treats, and of course we'd be remiss if we didn't get her thoughts on recent movies. We live, we laugh, we love you Cyan! xoxo, 2DC

Creating Community with Andrea
Finding those that are really engaged with the community is such a sweet treat on 2 Dirty Chais! Not only is she willing to have a conversation about what's going on in our communities, but also hold an engaging conversation to continue to have those important discussions. We touch on some key topics: Equity, Inclusion, Activism, & Black Feminism, and shaking up your damn routine! You can catch her at the Bloomington Poetry Slam's, which will be starting back up very soon, in a way to link, to connect, to share, to learn, and to continue. Creative liberation is such a beautiful tactic, especially when done with poems, to extend our words and be inhaled with the understanding of what's going on. All in a group of like minded individuals and those just seeking to learn a new experience. That's community engagement & done so beautifully. Especially when we can, "listen with selfless empathy. " We totally recommend listening and engaging with Andrea, this beautiful fun spirit. Finding some awareness of our everyday routines. Having conversations about what we're actually feeling And having it in a continuous and constructive fashion. It's something we all need for the betterment of the future, wouldn't you say so?
