On the surface the film comes off like a standard comedy fare regarding two couples engaging with each other over dinner. But over the course of the film, it slowly starts being about the state of both couples relationships especially the marriage between Rogan and Wilde's characters. The movie goes about it in a very real way thats funny, insightful, and engaging. Definitely a solid watch overall.

Its one to develop an animated series surrounding He-Man cause ultimately its a property that started out being made for the sake of selling toys much like alot of cartoons that came out in the 80s. Over the years though, the He-Man lore started gaining traction especially on the comic book side which lent itself to more semi-serious endeavors like the early 2000's Animated series and the recent Netflix show.  In comes this movie which takes some of the silly aspects of the 80s show and mixes it in with the serious material and gives you a very fun and straightforward movie that is very unapologetic in what it is. Its a film thats very confident with the source material and it shows top to bottom from the performances(especially Jared Leto's Skeletor) to the world of Eternia. This is a movie that comes alive with its energy. Its definitely worth the watch even if you aren't a big He-Man fan.

Two friends are sick of the big city, they decide to leave and make it big elsewhere. While finding a better, they are falsely accused for a bank robbery. Seems like an easy thing to get out of. Seems that way...

You can easily go into this film not watching the tv show because the movie through its actions tells you all you need to know not only about Mando but also of Grogu and the dynamics between the two. Great set pieces, solid visual effects, and a simple yet engaging story makes for a fun watch from beginning to end.

The sequel surpassing it former isn't uncommon but it's oddly specific. Usually comedies have a better chance achieving this. So we talk about that, 90's rock, SNL and other stuff. Party on Nerds!

By itself, this second movie presumes you not only watched the first film but you also have an understanding of the UC stories particularly the film, Char's Counterattack, which heavily factors into the continuing story of Hathaway Noa. Overall, Sorcery of Nymph Circe is a solid 2nd entry leading into the 3rd act of Hathaway Noa and his mission to take down the Earth Federation. Solid visuals and even the music choices do a great job of immersing you into the story of Hathaway, Kenneth, & GiGi's character progression.

The second round of the NBA Playoffs is almost done, the Wizards get a break, the WNBA started and WWE is getting boo'd, HARD!

In the grand scheme, its a smart choice. Wonder Man as a character has a very muddled history much like DC's Hawkman. So whats the best way to present the character in a streamlined way? Have the show structured around Simon Williams trying to make it in Hollywood while he's also trying to figure himself out. Pair him up with Trevor Slattery and you got a solid show that does a really good job of being self contained yet lowkey progressing certain aspects of the MCU. Definitely a must watch.

#TheMoment #CharliXCX The Moment is a film that wants to be 'This is Spinal Tap' so bad and its unfortunate that the film doesn't hit those entertaining heights that you expect out of a mockumentary. The movie plays into the real life rise of musician Charli XCX. If you're a fan of her then you'll probably enjoy the film for what it is. If you're someone that isn't familiar with her but you're hoping the film would give you an idea of Charli and her music then you're gonna be bored as hell. The film tries to hit you with comedy and drama but it doesn't really stick the landing on it. You end up with a very flat movie overall.

Send Help is a black comedy, horror, thriller film that has some surprising and predictable moments. Rachel McAdams steals the movie from the start and gives you a character that you're invested in seeing come out of the situation the film presents. 

The plan is simple. We hire a hitman to kill mom. We get the insurance money. We win. Huh? Yes, I'm sure this will work. If not we might have to give the hitman our sister as collateral. Trust me. This is fool proof. No PWT thinking here. Just straight smooth brain activity.

Based on the 1977 Indianapolis hostage standoff involving Tony Kiritsis, the film does a good job of balancing the seriousness of the situation with the offbeat personality of Tony as a person. Very tense moments and also moments of levity to where you actually empathize with Tony's plight.
