Robert and Katrina let Brian chime in on this installment.  On the back of an awful gross layoff, DC held their Virtual FanDome to get everyone excited about their up and coming projects.  Maybe they should have double checked their timelines before axing a bunch of people to then say "Hey everyone, look at what is coming and give us your money", but that's just Katrina talking.  Robert talks some Jim Lee commission pricing and they all discuss The Batman trailer.  Katrina was super lame and did not watch the new Wonder Woman trailer or the trailers for Batman: Arkham and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.  Please forgive her blunder.

On this installment Robert and Katrina have Alan Zoom in to have such a positive upbeat conversation.  We discuss the current debate on in-home new releases for a premium.  Most studios are offering new releases due to Movie Theater closures.  However Disney is stepping up the game.    

Robert and Katrina break out the mics for a no guest installment.  We have some new equipment that we are excited about but do have to learn how to use first.  Well, Katrina has to learn how to use the equipment.  Anyway, Robert and Katrina discuss a couple AITA (Am I the Asshole) situations that they stumbled across while surfing the wreck that is Social Media.

Robert and Katrina have Brian join on this installment where Last of Us 2 is the topic of discussion.  Uncharacteristically Robert has been beating games during these down times.  Robert and Brian discuss game play and story lines while Katrina offers thoughts on character development and themes in the story.  Hopefully you have had the chance to play and enjoy the beautiful game design.  Naughty Dog truly continues to set the bar higher and higher with each release.

Robert and Katrina talk the phenomenon that is Hamilton.  Hamilton fever is alive and well at 9 to 5 Nerds HQ.  Robert and Katrina talk favorite songs and Katrina cannot keep the character names straight.  They talk how themes are relevant in these current times.  If you haven't watched Hamilton, it is highly recommended.  Don't throw away your shot to see something great.

Apologies for the silence.  It's been a rough couple of months and cabin fever is setting in big time.  Robert and Katrina are mustering the motivation to get the mics up and going again full speed in the near future.   Robert and Katrina talk about where their heads are at and where they have been.  Mentally that is since they really can't go anywhere.  Robert throws down the challenge and we will have to wait and see if they succeed.

Robert and Katrina have another quarantine episode where they drill down on content they have watched in the spare time.  They go over shows from Dave to Chernobyl with Adventure Time and the Parks and Rec reunion.  Katrina digs a bit deep on some Adventure Time themes.  They discuss the announced live action Hercules project as well as the Taika Waititi Star Wars project.  Robert was a fan of Extraction while Katrina was not too impressed.  Looking forward to some episodes in the future with some familiar voices.  Stay safe!

On this episode Robert and Katrina have a rundown of all the movies they crammed in over the past couple of weeks.  The discussion gets kicked off with The Ballad of Buster Scruggs and the crazy that is Don't F**k With Cats.  Mr. Right was a pleasant surprise while the The King was just okay.  Molly's Game was greatly enjoyed and we make some goals for future recordings.  Only time will tell if we succeed. 

Living under the current stay at home order, Robert and Katrina break out the Yeti mic for an episode.  So we don't know if you are aware of this little thing called Tiger King, but if you haven't watched it yet (which is probably impossible) there are spoilers.  Talk Overlord and Dave which recently dropped on FXX.  Robert and Katrina talk a little cabin fever and just how it is going during the the stay at home order.  Working on bringing you more episodes during this weird time.  Stay safe!

This episode was recorded before the floor dropped out and we were all told to stay home.  Robert, Corey and Katrina had Brian join in to discuss the anticipated Final Fantasy 7 demo.  We touch on Christian Bale being cast as a Marvel villain and try to speculate who he might play.  We quickly realize that we do not know many Marvel villains that have not been portrayed. Robert asks the group what their first cd/dvd purchase was.  Hope you listeners are doing well wherever you are.

Robert, Katrina, Alan and Brian enjoy some food from Cali Comfort and some adult beverages from North Park Beer Company.  We enjoyed  'Resonant" written by David Andry and colored by Harry Saxon as well as "Mars Attacks" written by Kyle Starks and art by Chris Schweizer.  Make sure to put "Resonant" on your pull list at your local comic book store.  Solid story with fantastic art.  We can't wait to see where this story is going.  We discuss how "Mars Attacks" is a fun read that presses the nostalgia button.  Enjoy!

Robert gets the microphones fired back up for another episode.  Sickness took a toll and sidelined our productivity but we are back.  Robert, Corey and Katrina have Anthony join in to get up to speed on events since our last recording.  Robert makes the mistake of falling down the political hole which he was trying to avoid.  Coronavirus is in the air which surprisingly does not have Robert running to his bunker.  Robert and Katrina talk about the Rise of the Resistance ride as they were lucky to get on during their last visit to Disneyland.  We get caught up on what we all are watching and Robert finishes God of War.  Robert and Katrina are moving through their "need to watch" movie list and we touch on the Kobe Bryant tragedy.  We finish with Anthony's story of the first time he met his girlfriend's dad which some parts he doesn't even remember.  Welcome back to the fun.

Lacie and Emma join in on this one and we celebrate the start of Disney+.  We touch briefly on the Mandalorian without giving away spoilers.  Friends might be making a come back and Robert is getting ready for Designercon.  We let Corey know that his thoughts on Joker were not well received.  Rick and Morty start their new season and we have a confirmed new Batman.  We close on some politics. 

Robert, Corey and Katrina have Brian join in the discussion and we kick it off with fake meat.  Robert and Katrina tried the new Impossible Whopper and compared to the Original.  You would be surprised.  Robert and Katrina talk about their treat yo self day and the highly anticipated Disneyland trip.  Star Wars land was awesome.  We mostly discuss Joker and how nothing is budging that solid gold pedestal that Brian has built around Heath Ledger.  Corey goes down a back alley and falls down a rabbit hole that does not exist regarding a Joker fan theory.

After a brief personal break, Robert, Corey and Katrina have Anthony join on this installment.  We talk TV shows and most get into a discussion of Last of Us while Katrina looks radio pretty, silent.  Disneyland is on the mind since Robert and Katrina are anticipating an upcoming trip to the Parks.  We get into the demise of Rick Grimes and Anthony tries to justify wanting a controller that he does not need.
