Erica Robbins with SEMO Food Bank and Angela Head with Mercy Southeast join Darren to chat about the Produce Prescription Program. The Southeast Missouri (SEMO) Food Bank's Produce Prescription Program partners with healthcare providers like Mercy to provide free, seasonal fruits and vegetables to food-insecure patients with chronic health conditions. Patients are referred by their Mercy provider and can pick up produce twice a month, along with nutrition education, recipes, and cooking opportunities.
