He is our only option if life that truly matters is what we hunger after. By this brief, I urge you to respond to Jesus, who claims to be the ONLY conduit to God the Father (who is one with Jesus (John 14:6). He died as you, to break the power of the sin of rebellion against God that binds every unbeliever and He resurrected to assure you that IN HIM life eternal is a done deal. Invite Him into your life today? Now? Don't dilly dally, PLEASE!

Jesus says, "Come to ME!" Why? Because He claims to be "The Life," not merely a conduit to life. Sit you down, check out Jesus' seemingly outrageous claims about Himself, and arrive at a personal defining decision; to be His or not. I make bold to say that there is absolutely none like Jesus Christ. Among the many claims Jesus daringly made, He said to Philip, who was one of His twelve apostles, that "if you have seen me, you have seen (God) the Father" (refer to John 14:9 KJV). Today, He urges you to come to Him, who is "the Resurrection and the Life" (John 11: 25 KJV). It's as simple as saying, "Lord Jesus, be my Lord and Saviour from now on. I surrender all to you. Let your Holy Spirit take residence in me and help me to be all that you created me to be. To your honour and praise. Amen."

I can boldly recommend Him to you; Jesus the Christ. The world’s calendar is set to acknowledge His irrevocable dominion; the years before Christ (BC), and the years after His resurrection and ascension to the present (AD or Anno Domini meaning ‘In the year of the Lord’). His Holy Spirit takes residence in everyone who places absolute faith in Jesus. Will you place yours in Him today? Now? Remember, tomorrow is really nobody’s.

Do you feel caught up in life’s maze that makes you question life’s meaningfulness and you wonder whether life is worth living at all? Jesus boldly, daringly says to you: “I am … THE life.” Why won’t you surrender to Him now? It could be as simple a prayer like “Jesus, please show me that you are the real and only deal!” If you pray like that from the gut of your being, He will reveal Himself to you.

Eternity and where you will spend it is not a matter to trifle with. Every decision we each make from moment to moment has eternal ramifications. Jesus the Christ is calling out to you. He says "I am THE way, THE truth, and THE life. No one has access to (God) the Father except by me. Will you heed His call and say, "Lord Jesus, here I am. Please receive me and make me new in you as your word promises in 2 Corinthians 5:17. Thank you, Lord."

So, do not let anything or anyone hinder you from calling out to Him. Sometimes, perhaps often, He Himself will come at your pridefulness because that does get in the way of connecting with Him. Assuredly, He says: "And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart" (Jeremiah 29:13). PLEASE call Him, NOW!

In Philippians 1:21 KJV, when Paul says "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain," he is making a directional call to everyone who would pay heed. "To live is Christ and to die is gain!" How profound and yet straightforward, too. Jesus is your maker and mine (John 1:3). You and I were made for His pleasure (Revelation 4:11). He is an ask away: "Lord Jesus, I hereby acknowledge that you are the way, the truth, and the life. You died to deal with my sin of rebellion against God, and you rose and are alive forevermore to assure me of life eternal. I receive you now as my Saviour and Lord. Thank you that I am born anew by faith. Your Holy Spirit resides in me now to help me to be more and more like you. Be intentional! Shut out all that crazily and cunningly clamour for your attention. Christ Jesus invites you to invite him into every facet or department of your life. Believe with your heart and confess with your mouth that he both died (to put paid to the sin of you and me rebelling against God and wanting our own way which let in all other sins) and rose from the dead (so we'd have hope of eternity in his presence). Tomorrow isn't yours! Ask Jesus in now, you shall be reborn, and his Holy Spirit shall take residence in you and instruct you as you begin to read his word, the Bible and to love to pray and fellowship with other believers in Christ Jesus.

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a maln lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.” - Jesus, in John‬ ‭15:13-14‬ ‭KJV‬‬ “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:” - Acts‬ ‭17:30‬ ‭KJV‬‬ Will you repent (make a u-turn in Jesus’ direction) and make Him the overall boss of your life? Jesus audaciously says “He who has seen me, has seen (God) the Father” (John 14:9 NKJV). I urge you to trust Him who also is THE way (John 14:6 NKJV) to God the Father with whom He is ONE (mystically fused together). When you invite the Lord Jesus Christ into your life, He shows up in ways that are personal to each of us who sincerely make that call to Him. And you will be able to tell that He has responded to your call. And, if you let Him, He’ll teach you how to walk in tandem with Him. Why not make that call NOW, to Him who alone is THE way, THE truth, THE life.

In John 14:27 KJV, Jesus the Prince & King of Peace says - "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." As boldly as Jesus makes that reassuring statement, that boldly do I dare you to embrace an offer no one else can ever so audaciously and authoritatively make. Time is of the essence. Tomorrow isn't guaranteed you, if you really think about it. Pray, "Lord Jesus, I confess that you died to deal with my sin of preferring my own way and will to God's. And you rose from the dead to give me hope of life eternal. I invite you be boss of my life from now on. Let your Holy Spirit indwell me and be director of all I do and say. Amen. " Get a New King James Bible and read the gospel of John through and through and over and again. You'll hunger and thirst for much more thereafter, I know!

Jesus came in the flesh, on a rescue mission. In Adam, we willfully sold out to the devil. God’s justice was set in motion, provoking also His mercy and grace. In Christ our Messiah the offer is total and complete. All you and I need to do is to receive Him, because Himself is the entire package of welcoming grace. Ask Him to be Lord, King, Judge and Saviour of your life right now. His Spirit will take residence in you and help you to live a victorious Christian life. Hallelujah!

Stop running from Jesus! Stop hiding too! Truth is, nobody actually can outrun the Lord or hide from Him? You know that would be utterly self-deluding. Time really isn’t on anyone’s side. If you dropped dead now, for you Jesus has come! As your Saviour and Lord or as the One who judges and hands over to hell (from which He died and rose again to save us from)? Scripture says “(… behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)” - ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭6:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬. So, “… To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts …” Hebrews 3:15 KJV. Rather, “… if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.” - Romans‬ ‭10:9-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬. Don’t vacillate any longer! Receive Jesus as your Christ, NOW! And commit to passionately live for Him.

When Jesus, who also is the Christ (the Anointed One or Messiah) said “Before Abraham was, I AM”, He asserted His timelessness. He was emphatically saying, “I have always been!” “Yesterday, I AM, today, I AM, and tomorrow I AM. I dare you to abandon all to Him, make Him the Lord He alone can be IN, and OVER, your life and let Him be your surety for the unknown moments ahead of you!

Jesus came not to found a religious movement. He came to find you! Yes, you! Direct and personal. When He audaciously answers Philip’s puzzled request in ‭‭John‬ ‭14:9‬, that Jesus show him God the Father with “… he that hath seen me hath seen the Father …”, He demystified God as a distant being out there somewhere that we have to struggle to get close to by going through some rigid rituals. Rather, you first receive Jesus’ atonement on the cross for you, you are reborn (1 Corinthians 5:17), His Holy Spirit takes residence in you, His righteousness is yours and you are empowered to please Him in all you say and do. What to do? Believe and confess that He died and rose from the dead on your account and determine to live to please Him, and point others to Him. Hallelujah!

At any point in time the Black Stars engage, there are 11 players on the field; 11 making ONE team! We don’t say there are 11 teams because there are 11 distinct players, do we? Colossians 2:9 reads: “For in him (ie Christ Jesus) dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” Again “No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son (‘begotten’ because he assumed human form and was born as such though he is preexistent) and who is inside the Father, he has declared (revealed) him.” - John‬ ‭1:18‬. In Jesus, every one can encounter God in very personal fashion. To experience the Godteam of 3 (The Father, Son & Holy Spirit 1 John 5:7), it takes a simple sincere prayer like: “Lord Jesus, I choose to believe in you; come and be the Lord and Chief Administrator of my life from hereon and help me to live in honour of you. Amen!”

Jesus emphatically says "people must always pray and not relent doing so." Inferring from that I rehash that it's always time to pray and at this moment let's keep Ghana in focus as we enter another election year. Lord, let your peace that transcends all understanding engulf this nation and preserve the land and it's people, amen!

The Bible’s purpose is to draw your attention to Jesus Christ, the only GodMan who reveals to each of us our real God given purpose WHEN we are intentional in accepting His invitation to repose absolute faith in Him. He is still saying “Come to ME!” Will you?

“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” - 1 Corinthians‬ ‭1:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬ Christ took to the cross for a reason; to atone for the sin of all mankind, that of man seeking his own purpose rather than the Lord’s. When you embrace the cross, you realize that you rather are in the embrace of the Resurrected Ever Living Christ, with the surety of an eternity in, and with, Him! Hallelujah!

“… If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.” - Jesus in John‬ ‭7:37‬ ‭KJV‬‬. How succinct is that! Reach out to Jesus and get that thirst quenched that He alone can quench!

“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” - John 3:17-18 KJV How succinct! Jesus, the sinless Shepherd-King came to take upon Himself the condemnation (of eternal separation from God) that hangs over every one of us sinful ones who does not acknowledge his/her sin state. The antidote? “… if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” - Romans‬ ‭10:9-10‬ ‭KJV

God places clear pointers at our disposal that should lead us back to Himself but many of us sidestep those pointers and lose our way, thinking we’re smarter than the one who fashioned us! Think about it though; do you really think any of us can outwit the Lord? His love defies understanding and cannot be exhausted but it can be resisted! And many do until it’s too late, sometimes! Jesus, in the Bible, says of Himself “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Emphatic words there! Surely then, you should expect, when you encounter Jesus, that He will speak the truth about where you stand with Him? He does so, offering to clothe you in His righteousness if you would dare to throw off your inclination to walk in rebellion against what He is capable of making of you - an utterly new creation in Himself! Therefore, today, hearing His voice tugging at your heart, harden not your heart. Truth is, tomorrow is not yours, no one has promised it to you!

Daily, we are assailed by semblances of love and we each must pause and assess if these assortments of love are, truly and indeed, love at all. Charles Wesley refers to Jesus (the God-Man) as Love Divine, whose love excels all other manifestations or connotations of love! I recommend this rescuing Love to you. What does is take but to say: “Jesus, I reject wanting to live life my way any longer. I dare to trust you. I enthrone you Lord of my heart and life. I receive your righteousness as mine. Amen!

It is possible for you to get to know the Lord Jesus Christ in a way so personal that you cannot help but become a walking contagion yourself! All it takes is for you to extend Him an invitation; I bet you He will honour it!

I am daring you to ask Jesus to make Himself real to you which is the major focus of each encounter we would have on A cappella & a word hereon and of course, is the same focus on this debut one. May nothing distract you from hearing the Lord Jesus calling out to you to come to Him and for you to respond to Him in a life-changing encounter with He who also is the Servant-King!
