There is a purpose for suffering. When you suffer for Christ, you are sharing in His glory. One chapter. One takeaway. One day at a time.

There is a pattern in suffering and God wants us to respond to trials like Christ. One chapter. One takeaway. One day at a time.

God calls you not to blend in, but to stand out. Live like a light in the darkness and point others to Him.

First Peter reveals how God’s redemptive purpose is advanced in the lives of His people as they suffer for Christ’s sake. In the midst of suffering, we have a hope that is rooted in Christ’s resurrection!

Joy. Peace. Contentment. These do not come from your situation. They come from your union with Christ. This final chapter calls us to rejoice in the Lord, think on what is true, and rest in His strength.

Righteousness is not earned, but found in Christ alone. Paul’s goal in life was to gain Jesus. This chapter is a call to let go of your past and press on toward what lies ahead.

What does true humility look like? Jesus. We must strive for unity through humility and humility through Christ.

Life is not about comfort or control. It is about Christ. Whether Paul lived or died, he had one aim: to magnify Jesus. Because of your union with Christ, you can have joy despite your circumstances!

James 5 reminds us to wait patiently and pray fervently. Faith doesn’t panic under pressure. It prays and presses on.

James 4 confronts our pride and worldliness and calls us to humble submission to God. Real faith bows before God, not the world.

James 3 calls us to control our words and pursue wisdom from above. Your speech reflects your spiritual maturity.

James 2 reminds us that real faith doesn’t play favorites and doesn’t sit still. True belief always leads to action.

James 1 challenges us to endure trials with joy and respond to God’s Word with obedience. Real faith isn’t passive. It grows through pressure.

Paul ends this letter with a list of powerful commands but anchors them in a deeper truth: the God who called you will also sanctify you completely. We obey, but we rest in His faithfulness.Takeaway: Be obedient but rest in His faithfulness.

Paul’s joy over the Thessalonians’ faith doesn’t stop him from praying for more. He longs for them to increase and overflow in love. In this chapter, we’re reminded that spiritual growth isn’t about survival—it’s about abounding.Takeaway: Love more and more.

Paul reminds us that real ministry looks like sacrificial love. Like a mother cherishes her children, so should we pour ourselves into others.Takeaway: Do we care?

Paul opens this letter with encouragement. the church’s faith was so real, it echoed out to others.Today’s takeaway: Let your life speak loud enough that people hear about Jesus through you.

In todays episode we finish the book of Colossians with a great encouragement not to quit! May we take heed to the calling that God has placed on our lives.

Is God sovereign? 100%… But that doesn’t remove the responsibility we have to put to death the sin in our life. Today, may we put off the old man and put on the new!

If you are tired of trying and trying to do right, be encouraged by today’s encouragement that God is the One who empowers us to live for Him!

In today’s episode, we see that Jesus holds all things together. By him, “all things consist.” May we live our lives in full dependence on the One who is preeminent!
