In this special episode, I am joined by my friend and fellow Barometer Program member, Professor Focke Ziemssen, Director of the University Eye Clinic at the University Hospital Leipzig, Germany. Join us as we discuss the findings of the Barometer Global Survey, a worldwide study capturing the experiences of patients with neovascular age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and diabetic macular edema, as well as their healthcare teams. In this episode, Focke and I unpack the results of the survey and their implications. In this episode, I am joined by my fellow Vision Academy member Professor Sobha Sivaprasad, Professor of Retinal Clinical Studies at the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology and Consultant Ophthalmologist at Moorfields Eye Hospital in the United Kingdom. Join us as we discuss key aspects of the diagnosis and treatment of central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC). In this episode, we summarize published evidence for the treatment of CSC, and use the guidance developed by the Vision Academy to discuss practical disease management and treatment of phenotypic variations. My guest for this episode is Professor Richard Gale, Professor of Ophthalmology at Hull York Medical School, University of York, UK, and Honorary Consultant Medical Ophthalmologist at the National Health Service’s York Teaching Hospital.
