Rob Bolks - Episode 403 October 29, 2025 – BET you like this one!

Episode #403: In this episode, we are joined by Rob Bolks as he educates us on sports betting. Sports betting (a personal choice by an individual) adds an extra layer of excitement to watching games, transforming casual viewers into invested participants with something real on the line. There's a genuine thrill in researching matchups, making your predictions, and watching them play out in real time—whether it's a last-second touchdown covering the spread or your underdog pulling off the upset. It can make otherwise meaningless regular season games suddenly matter, and sharing wins (and losses) with friends creates a sense of community and friendly competition. But the key to keeping it fun is treating it as entertainment, not income. Set a budget you're comfortable losing, the same way you would for a night out or a concert ticket, and stick to it. When sports betting stays in its proper place—a hobby that adds spice to the games you already love—it enhances the experience without creating stress or financial strain. The moment it stops being fun or starts affecting your life negatively, that's when it's time to step back. Bet smart, bet small, and remember: the real joy is in the game itself. (For those that need assistance with gambling addiction, please reach call 1-800-GAMBLER). Guest: Rob Bolks
