Conversations with Creatives: Grounded New with Devyn Rashid Pt. 1
Hey yall! It's finally here. Season 2, Episode 1, Part 1. Conversations with Creatives with our first concept aka guest and good friend; Devyn Rashid. I couldn't give yall an hour long episode off bat because ~attention span~ so enjoy Part 1. Grounded New was an ongoing concept throughout this conversation. Enjoy learning more about Devyn and hearing his OWN music all throughout this episode. We started by just groovin to a joint he created and just played aloud, throughout you'll hear my nervous giggles, obnoxious outbursts, our wisdom, a special unexpected guest who walked by our set up and so much more tea. I value getting to know artists deeper. To be able to do that live a direct is an honor. I can't wait to feature more creatives from all avenues of art, maybe it'll be one of you lovely listeners. Thank you for growing with me on my platform. I can't wait to see where this platform is one year from today. It has challenged my belief in self as well as my ability to be consistent. This was one of my first platforms where I could display my creativity so thank you for receiving me. Love, The creative creatives create for. Thee Concept. Kaylana M.J.

In this episode, we explore my definitions of Intention vs. Expectation. Intentionality is a lifestyle that we want to live. What level of thought and preparation are we putting in to support what it is we desire? Satisfied or Happy?
Are we satisfied or are we happy? Oftentimes we confuse what is feeding our lustful desires with what is making us truly happy. This can apply to ones self, your relationships or friendships, your work environment, or even day to day experiences. Ponder this week on what purpose these things or people serve in your life. Let's prioritize cutting off what is temporary. Make time for yourself this week! You are a priority. Don’t forget to like, comment and subscribe to my podcast so that you don’t miss an episode! Get in girl, we're going to heal...
I was a woman of few words of my own with this episode. One of my favorite poems is Phenomenal Woman by Thee Maya Angelou. This week I was challenged, I know how much I love myself but I was tested and that test was an opportunity to show myself how real that love for me is. I passed. I wanted to speak to my ladies through song and spoken word just to remind you of how amazing you are. You got this girl. Fellas, I got you soon. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe to my podcast! As promised here is that playlist. Enjoy. https://music.apple.com/us/playlist/get-in-girl-were-going-to-heal/pl.u-55D6X4VHgYpKEk
