Let’s wrap up ACOWAR! The last third of this book had Danelle and I taking frantic notes and questioning every little detail. Anyone else feel a bit paranoid and unstable as they go through their reread? Or is that just us? Also, yet another reminder to not be an a-hole as we approach the releases of Threshing Day and ACOSH.

Join us as we continue our journey through our SJM reread and continue to spiral on what is in store for us on October 27th! This week, we’re in the heart of ACOWAR and prepping for the Hybern showdown. 

We are making our way through the ACOTAR series and find ourselves knee deep into ACOWAR. Thanks to the blurbs for ACOSH and ACOFM, we are both paranoid AF and suspect of everyone. Plus, we are diving into a curious timeline discrepancy that is currently haunting us. 

Sadly, we’ve finished our reread of ACOMAF (aka one of our favorite books of all time). Enjoy our increasingly hectic and somewhat diabolical thoughts and theories on the last 60% of this book. Spoiler warning: we are highly suspicious of everyone and also still livid at their atrocious planning for Hybern.

VALKYRIES BABYYYYYY. LET’S GOOOOO! Real talk though, what is sleep? No, really though. Just like most of you, we’ve not known peace since Monday morning. Danelle and I took a few days to process the blurbs for ACOSH and ACOFM (these new acronyms are fun!). By “process”, I actually mean we’ve been spiraling nonstop and adding endless entries into our theories journals. Without further ado, let’s dive into these blurbs line by line. Also, friendly reminder to keep the fandom fun and respectful as we all theorize and celebrate these upcoming releases.

Well this is creepy (or serendipitous, depending on how you look at it). Our episode this week is a breakdown of our thoughts on the first third of ACOMAF….including discussions on the Weaver and the Bone Carver. Of course, the website and insta updates came AFTER we recorded yesterday. We also have some unhinged thoughts on that Autumn Equinox festivities guide…

We’ve wrapped up ACOTAR and have some questions. There a few oddities that sparked our interest. It is a wild ride rereading when you’ve got the entirety of the Maasverse at your fingertips. Our brains are already fried so enjoy some unhinged thoughts!

Quick question: how many rewatches is too many rewatches of Off-Campus? Asking for a friend…🏒Danelle and I are diving into our review of season one of Off-Campus and (spoiler alert) we definitely think it is worth the hype! We were cautiously optimistic about this show and it truly blew our expectations out of the water. I mean, they managed to make me love a BLONDE MMC. Unheard of. 

So does this highly anticipated sequel live up to the hype? It absolutely does! Fury Bound delivers in action, spice and, of course, plot twists. If you were waiting to start this series until Fury Bound dropped, we highly recommend diving in immediately. 

Happy Fury Bound release day! Danelle and I are so excited to dive into this sequel. It kicks off a truly epic summer of releases for us book girlies. We are being FED. Join us as we breakdown the upcoming releases for May and June. We also dive into our wildly different strategies for prepping for highly anticipated books.

Remember how Danelle and I lost our minds about Shield of Sparrows? Well…that was child’s play compared to how utterly ruined we are after reading Rites of the Starling. Is it worth the hype? You betcha!

Yep, we are still spiraling. It doesn’t help that SJM herself has announced the titles (PLURAL) are coming soon. So let’s chat about possible titles and the big questions. Mainly, will we get an “and” or no? Join as we count syllables (no, this isn’t a joke) and pass the time until we hear more from SJM. 

SJM GIRLIES, WE ARE SO BACK! That interview was better than we could’ve ever imagined. The countdown to ACOTAR 6 (and 7) is officially on! LFG! 

Anyone else having some MAJOR trust issues with certain characters in the Empyrean world? Well Danelle and I definitely are struggling. Rebecca has us questioning everyone’s true identity and motivations. So, let’s deep dive in to the most likely candidates to be Venin. We accept any and all anger, fear and stress that this discussion may cause. Apologies in advance.

Yep, we are still at The Cottage. This time, we have a legitimate reason aka Danelle’s upcoming trivia night. Join us as I grill Madi and Danelle on their HR knowledge. Let’s see if they are stupid Canadian wolf birds or if they can win the cup!

Don’t you just love it when two of your hobbies collide? Danelle and I are feeling the high fantasy RPG vibes this week. So, obviously, we had to assign each major Empyrean character with their D&D class. Full disclosure: this was much harder than we anticipated.

Let’s all remember that Rebecca has cast doubt on whether the dragons give their full and accurate names at Threshing. Now, with that in mind, let’s chat about signets. More specifically, second ones. Who’s got em? What are they? What’s the plan? Who knows! 

Let’s talk about everyone’s favorite super upbeat and pleasant dragons, the Irids! Danelle and I both have some very strong feelings about this. The theories are flowing tonight. Let’s go!
