A Mo Story

Another one bites the dust, the cowboy I introduced in Episode 46, is no longer.

CKD, why me, the guy who just turned 50?  Nine days in and now this....On April 6th, I received life changing information about my health, and what has happened since. I also discuss: Lily Allen's new album, her autobiography, a new man on the scene in my life, and a fun purchase I made.  

Part 2 of my road trip ; fifty and how the trip took a turn and was not all what I expected and how I'm dealing with the aftermath.

In the month of March,  I helped moved my friend Jay from outside of Denver to Portland and how that went.  I went on a 10 day road trip for my Fiftieth Birthday.  Part 1 of this road trip.  The cities I visited on the first part, the boys (or lack there of) and the theme that followed me all the way into Part 2.  

The saga continues in my day to day life with peaks and valleys.  Here is the update of what's been happening and the stores to go with.  

In episode 41, I discussed how I was upset for being blocked on instagram, and I had forgotten my posts and how mean spirited they were.  So,  I wanted to publicly apologize and say I'm Sorry to Bobby and you, the listeners.  I was wrong in posting those mean comments.

A trip back from Salt Lake City alone, and too much time on my hands lead me to think of a music about Mormonism, in a modern twist.  The twist all pop songs to describe the creation of the religion.  I hope you find it funny and think of your own songs to describe something as strange.

On Feb. 18th, I attended the Madonna Celebration tour concert in Seattle.  This is my review of the show, and audio from the show.

Part 2 continues into my high school years and the funny stories that go along with it.

This week,  I tell you some of my funniest stories from my time working in a hospital.  The stories start back in 1994 when I was a high school student observing in a surgery department, to present day, fastest time, I have completed removing a clot from a stroking brain.  How I became a whistle blower and the retaliation I endured, because of it.  I leave you with a phrase you should all pickup and use when you lose something, " Did you check the colon?"
