Stefanie: Her sister's coma and death deepened her once-flat view of love.
It wasn’t until she stood as the emergency contact, hearing clinical updates while her sister lay in a coma, that grief truly found her. Before that, love felt steady but shallow. In that space between hope and loss, she felt the weight of every memory and unspoken word. The grief was overwhelming, but it revealed a deeper kind of love—no longer flat or distant, but raw, empathetic, and forever changed. To find Stefanie on Instagramhttps://www.instagram.com/_stefaniejoseph?igsh=MWI1ODFpbzM5dHl1ag==

Nancy: As an intuitive medium, her early discovered gift helps her navigate grief
Nancy found her gift in the middle of grief. As an intuitive medium, she learned to feel what isn’t always seen—connection, energy, and love that still remains. What helped her heal became a way to guide others, reminding them that even in loss, they are not alone and healing is still possible.Homework Nancy suggests for grief:Write two letters to your loved one—one to express any anger or unfinished feelings, and one focused on love and gratitude. When both are complete, fold them, hold them in your hands, and intentionally “release” your emotions into the paper. Then burn the letters as a symbolic way of letting go, imagining the smoke carrying your message to them. This same practice can also be used for healing from any trauma or with any person, living or passed.Nancy's contact information:[email protected]://nancyscheibe.com/

Introduction
After losing my brother to suicide in 2020 and two more siblings soon after, I found myself standing in a life I didn’t recognize. The old version of me was gone. Grief is messy and universal. We all grieve the loss of something or someone. But it is in the vulnerable details- the tears, questions, and quiet rebuilding- that grief becomes deeply personal and uniquely our own. Grief doesn’t just break your heart; it reshapes your identity and often painfully asks you to become someone new before you feel ready. This podcast is about getting to know the new person grief shapes you into. It’s about honoring the details of your loss and the patience and love required to meet yourself again. Each episode is an invitation to learn from someone’s personal experience, to grow, to gain perspective, and to discover the version of yourself waiting on the other side. Because one day, you’ll see — this new shade of you is beautiful and holds a depth of love and understanding only loss can teach.
