Childhood Trauma Series - E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial (1982)
What's up Dream Warriors! We're back with Brooke's pick and another movie in our Childhood Trauma series; E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial! Brooke watched this once as a kid and then avoided it like the plague until now, so come find out if he thinks the trauma was warranted or if it's not quite as bad as he once thought. Come back in a couple of weeks for Marc's pick of The Dark Crystal from 1982 (our 3rd 1982 movie in a row...I'm noticing a trend here.)
-

Childhood Trauma Series - The Secret of NIMH (1982)
What's up Dream Warriors! We're back with another Childhood Trauma movie and Marc's pick of The Secret of NIMH! In an era where Disney was in a weird place, came a man named Don Bluth and he made a run of some of the most influential animated movies in the 80's and 90's, starting with this gem! This movie has so many layers you'd think Shrek would eat it for a snack and we try to unpack it as best as we can. Come back in 2 weeks for Brooke's pick of E.T.!

Childhood Trauma Series - Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland (1989/1992)
What's up Dream Warriors! We're back with another Childhood Trauma episode and Brooke's first pick of the theme is one that scared him so much as a kid it was a one and done movie. This movie in question is Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland! This is one that Marc had never heard of but was happy to have watched now. Discussion Points: - The 10 year production and release of this movie. - Dreams and how the movie portrays them for kids. - How kids really like to test the waters to see how much they can get away with. - The underlying themes and various viewer portrayals of the movie. - Dark Animated Movie Villains: Spooky vs Kooky Check out the episode to see if it's still as creepy as it was for wee little Brooke and don't forget to come back in 2 weeks for another animated movie in this theme and Marc's pick of The Secret of NIHM!

Childhood Trauma Series - Labyrinth (1986)
What's up Dream Warriors! Brooke is finally back from vacation, which means we're finally back to recording! We're both very excited for the next couple of months where we'll be doing a Childhood Trauma series and discussing movies that aren't horror but freaked us out as kids. Marc is kicking this off with his pick of Labyrinth from 1986. This one is a first time watch for Brooke but an all-time great for Marc. Come back in 2 weeks for Brooke's pick of Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland.

259
The People Under The Stairs
What's up Dream Warriors! Brooke decided it's been too long since we've done a Wes Craven movie so he picked one of his lesser talked about, but still potentially cult statused, The People Under The Stairs from 1991. We've both seen this one before but it's been a really long time. We agreed this is a great entry level horror but really doesn't live up to Wes' name. Let us know your thoughts on this one! Come back in a few weeks when we'll be starting a 2 month theme of non-horror movies that scared us as kids and may even still get under our skin as adults. We'll be kicking it off with Marc's pick of Labyrinth!
-
258
Weapons (2025)
What's up Dream Warriors! We're back with another 2025 banger, Weapons! In this episode we discuss the the fact that horror has been absolutely crushing it lately and how these new age directors are coming out of nowhere and making some of the best horror movies we've ever seen. We take a bit of a deep dive into the message behind the movie and what Zach Cregger's vision was for it. Come back in 2 weeks for Brooke's pick of lesser talked about movie from a legendary drector with...The People Under the Stairs!
-
257
Sinners (2025)
What's up Dream Warriors! We're coming at you with teeth bared for Brooke's pick of the record breaking, massively regarded and award winning, Sinners! This movie came out last year and absolutely took the world by storm with it's incredible soundtrack, original story and amazing performances from all actors. Needless to say, we both love this movie and are excited to see what Coogler has cooking in the future. Come back in 2 weeks for another 2025 movie and Marc's pick of Weapons!
-
256
Beyond the Darkness (1979)
What's up Dream Warriors! We've been tasked by our good friend Ben to talk about the 1979 Italian horror, Beyond the Darkness/Buried Alive/Buio Omega. This was a first time watch for both of us and we both had different feelings on it but we both agree the English dubbing was awful and the practical effects were great. We want to thank Ben for requesting this one and bringing one to the table we've never watched! Come back in 2 weeks for Brooke's pick of the massively popular and record breaking, Sinners!
-
255
Signs (2002)
What's up Dream Warriors! Brooke figured out that we had never recorded an M. Night Shyamalan movie and he said "that's about to change!" and chose Signs from 2002. We discussed where this movie ranks among Shyamalan's movies, what would we do in this situation and we both did blind rankings of 5 different alien movies. Come back in 2 weeks for Marc's pick of Beyond the Darkness/Buried Alive/Buio Omega!
-
254
The Autopsy of Jane Doe (2016)
What's up Dream Warriors! We completed our month of franchise episodes and have returned to our regular style episodes; although we had a blast doing them, we're looking forward to bringing you quality single movie episodes again! With that being said, Marc's first pick of April is The Autopsy of Jane Doe! This movie does a great job of cranking the creepy vibes up to 11 and had a great twist in it, along with an incredible performance by our Jane Doe. Come back in 2 weeks for Brooke's pick -- and our first M. Night Shyamalan movie -- Signs!
-
253
Wishmaster Franchise (1997-2002)
What's up Dream Warriors! It's our last episode of March and therefore our last franchise episode for a little bit, to wrap it all up Brooke decided to keep us on our toes with the Wishmaster franchise! We both agree that 2 of these were decent and then the franchise did a nose dive off a high cliff and landed in a fiery mess of poor CGI, terrible scripts and plots that never should have made it to production. If you've watched these movies, let us know your thoughts on them! Come back in 2 weeks where we'll be back to our normal style episodes and Marc's pick of The Autopsy of Jane Doe!
-
252
Critters Franchise (1986-2019)
What's up Dream Warriors! It's officially our birthday month and we decided to go big for this one! We're both picking a franchise (5 movies or less for this one) to discuss and Marc is kicking it off with Critters! This franchise is 5 movies, spanning from 1986 to 2019, about little alien fluff balls coming to Earth to fuck shit up! Neither of us has watched the entire franchise prior to this so we went into this one fairly fresh faced. Come find out our thoughts on it, how we ranked the movies and how these little space hedgehogs rank among other horror creatures! Come back in 2 weeks for Brooke's pick of the Wishmaster franchise!
-
251
Get Out (2017)
What's up Dream Warriors! We're closing out February with Brooke's pick of Get Out from 2017. This is Jordan Peele's directorial debut and our debut of Peele on the podcast; it's honestly insane that we haven't covered any of his movies before now! We both agree that this is arguably the best directorial debut for any horror director and it instantly put Peele in the upper echelon of wildly talented up and coming directors. Come back in a couple of weeks for our birthdays month, where we're both picking a franchise to cover. To kick it all of, Marc has picked the Critters franchise! Obviously not great movies but oftentimes the stinkers create a great discussion!
-
250
Hannibal Lecter Franchise (1986-2007)
What's up Dream Warriors! It's been a while since we've done a franchise watch but we've been itching to do another one, so without further adieu we bring to you...the Hannibal Lecter franchise! This franchise spans from 1986 to 2007 and consists of 5 movies (Manhunter, The Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal, Red Dragon and Hannibal Rising) and focuses one of the most iconic characters in cinema history. We'd love to hear your thoughts on this franchise and maybe your rankings of the movies! Come back in 2 weeks for Brooke's pick of Get Out! This is our first Jordan Peele movie on the podcast and we both agree it's kind of blasphemous that we haven't done one yet but here we are!
-
249
Incident In A Ghostland (2018)
What's up Dream Warriors! We're here with Brooke's first pick of 2026, Incident In A Ghostland! This pick took Marc by surprise, for reasons you'll find out about in the episode. This movie is a psychological thriller and whether you love it or hate it, you can agree that it's messed up and very effective. Come back in 2 weeks for our first franchise episode in a long ass time, where we'll be talking about the Hannibal Lector franchise!
-
248
Nosferatu (2024)
What's up Dream Warriors! It's a new year and a new season; we've made it back home from our travels and we're back to bring you movies with no restrictions! To kick off the year Marc picked Nosferatu from 2024 because we had to go big for a new season! We wish you all the best in 2026 and we hope you enjoy the episode! Come back in 2 weeks for Brooke's pick of Incident in a Ghostland (or just Ghostland, depending on where you look).
-

APOES Travels to Europe 6 - Troll Hunter (2010)
What's up Dream Warriors! We've done it! The year is over. Our travelling is finished. We've done 30 episodes across 4 continents and a large number of countries. We are wrapping up 2025 in Norway with Brooke's pick of Troll Hunter. This is a found footage movie from 2010 and a first time watch for Marc! We're kicking off the new year with a new season, and no current theme so for Marc's first pick of 2026 we'll be doing Nosferatu from 2024! Thank you for all of your support this past year and have a safe and happy New Year!
-
246
APOES Travels to Europe 5 - Don't Open Till Christmas (1984)
Happy Holidays to you from us! In our second last episode of the year we are in the UK again for Marc's pick of Don't Open Till Christmas. This was a first time watch for both of us and although there are some things we did enjoy about this one, it ultimately feel short for us and won't be added to our lists of yearly Christmas horror watches. We did enjoy a lot of the kills and thought the practical effects were done well for the most part, but everything in between was pretty boring. Come back in 2 weeks where we'll be finishing off our year of travelling with Brooke's pick of The Troll Hunter!
-
245
APOES Travels to Europe 4 - Frontier(s)
What's up Dream Warriors! We apologize for the delay but we are back and we have brought a doozie! This was originally Brooke's pick of November but it's now his first pick of December and he took us to France to discuss 2007's Frontier(s). We're no strangers to the French Extremities genre, but you'll have to listen to find out where this one lands on our list. Come back in a couple of weeks for Marc's December pick of 1984's Don't Open Till Christmas!
-
244
Patron Pick - Shivers (1975)
What's up Dream Warriors! We're back with another Sir Harbinger Patron Pick and as always he gave us a wild movie with Shivers from 1975! This one is directed by David Cronenberg and can you ever tell! It's gross, it's slimy, it's goopy and it's batshit crazy - just the way we like it! Remember, if you want to get a movie on the podcast click the link in our bio on IG to sign up for our Patreon!
-
243
APOES Travels to Europe 3 - Possum (2018)
What's up Dream Warriors! We're back on our travels and Marc's pick this month takes us to the UK to discuss the psycholigcal horror, Possum! This movie was definitely creepy as hell but we also kind of found it a little boring on a first watch and both agree we'd benefit from a second viewing of it. Whether you love it or hate, there's no denying this one will get under your skin. Come back in 2 weeks where we'll be traveling to France for Brooke's pick of Frontier(s).
-
242
Layover Episode - Top 10 VHS Franchise Segments
What's up Dream Warriors! We got laid over on our way to our next location so we're coming at you with an awesome idea that Brooke had. For this episode we will both be ranking our Top 10 VHS Franchise segments. We went through all 8 movies and narrowed it down to 10 segments from the 37 that are available! We had a blast with this one and we hope that you enjoy the episode! Come back in 2 weeks for Marc's UK pick of Possum! This one will be a first time watch for both of us!
-
241
APOES Travels to Europe 2 - Let the Right One In (2008)
What's up Dream Warriors! We're back with our second European movie and Marc's first pick on this leg of our travels. We've moved on to Sweden to discuss arguably one of the best vampire movies, Let the Right One In! We loved how this was filmed and how different it is from other vampire movies. Where does Let the Right One In stack up for you amongst the mass amounts of vampire movies? Come back in 2 weeks where we'll be taking a slight break from our travels to do something a little different for Halloween!
-
240
APOES Travels to Europe 1 - The Devil's Bath (2024)
What's up Dream Warriors! We made it out of Asia and now we're ready to tackle Europe for the final stretch of the year and this theme! To kick things off we're doing Brooke's pick of The Devil's Bath from Austria. This was a first time watch for both of us and not a terrible entry into the Folk Horror subgenre but we can both agree it's not the best entry. Come back in 2 weeks for Marc's pick of Let the Right One In from Sweden!
-
239
APOES Travels to Asia 7 - Godzilla Minus One (2023)
What's up Dream Warriors! This is our last episode in Asia so we had to go big...real big. This week we sat down to talk about Godzilla Minus One! We haven't watched every Godzilla movie out there, because there's a lot, but we can both agree that this is definitely one you need to watch if you haven't already. Come back in 2 weeks when we'll be travelling to Germany to cover our first European movie of the year, The Devil's Bath!
-
238
APOES Travels to Asia 6 - Cure (1997)
What's up Dream Warriors! This movie has been on Brooke's watchlist for a long time and he finally decided to pick Kiyoshi Kurosawa's Cure! This movie is more psychological than traditional horror but it does pack a hefty throat punch of suspense and uneasiness. Come back in 2 weeks where we'll be wrapping up our trip to Asia with Godzilla Minus One and then taking a trip to Europe to finish off the season!
-
237
APOES Travels to Asia 5 - The Medium (2021)
What's up Dream Warriors! We took a trip to Thailand this week to help exorcise some pissed off spirits in 2021's The Medium! We both agreed that this movie had a bit too much of a runtime but also both agree that it's an extremely well made movie and everyone should check it out! Come back in 2 weeks where we'll be traveling back to Japan for Brooke's pick of The Cure.
-
236
APOES Travels to Asia 4 - Ichi the Killer (2001) - ft. Two Chicks And A Horror Flick
What's up Dream Warriors! We sat down with Miriam and Tawny from Two Chicks And A Horror Flick this week to discuss Takashi Miike's body horror, action/crime, mix match, effed up movie, Ichi the Killer! This was a first time watch for all of us except Brooke and there were definitely some THOUGHTS on this one. Come back in two weeks where we'll be travelling to Thailand to discuss Marc's pick of The Medium!
-
235
APOES Travels to Asia 3 - Bramayugam (2024)
Whats up Dream Warriors! This week we travelled to India to cover the underrated folk horror gem, Bramayugam! This was our first Indian film on the podcast and there's a good chance it won't be our last based off our enjoyment of this one. Come back in 2 weeks where we'll be sitting down with Miriam and Tawny from Two Chicks and A Horror Flick to discuss Ichi the Killer!
-
234
Patreon Pick - The Lair of the White Worm (1988)
What's up Dream Warriors! We're here for our first Patreon Pick in a looong time thanks to our newest Patron, Sir Harbinger! He kicked off his Patron journey with a wild pick and first time watch for us, The Lair of the White Worm. This movie was such a weird and insane ride but only one of us says we'll watch it again. You'll have to come listen to find out who! If you want to become a Patron and get your own Patron Pick, head over to the link in our IG bio find out how! Thank you again Sir Harbinger for your support and for this pick!
-
233
APOES Travels to Asia 2 - Exhuma (2024)
What's up Dream Warriors! We travelled to South Korea this week to help exorcise some demons in Exhuma! This was a first time watch for both of us but it most definitely will not be a last. We highly recommend checking it out so you can hopefully appreciate the originality of it like we did. Come back in 2 weeks where we'll be taking a trip to India to discuss Brooke's pick of Bramayugam, which will be another first time watch for both of us!
-
232
APOES Travels to Asia 1 - Impetigore (2019)
What's up Dream Warriors! We wrapped up our trip to South/Latin America on our last episode so that means it's time to take over Asia! As usual, Brooke gets the first pick and he chose Impetigore from Indonesia. This was a first time watch for both of us but it most definitely will not be the last. If you haven't seen this movie yet, make sure you check the warnings before watching it because there's some things in it that may be triggering to some people. Come back in 2 weeks for Marc's pick of Exhuma, from South Korea!
-
231
APOES Travels to South America 6 - Cronos (1992)
What's up Dream Warriors! We're sad, but also excited, to say that this is our last episode in South/Latin America. We're wrapping things up with Marc's pick of Guillermo del Toro's Cronos! This has been a really fun quarter spent watching some great...and not so great movies but we're very excited to hop on a jet plane and travel to Asia for a few months! Our first stop is in Indonesia for Brooke's first pick of the quarter, Impetigore! This will be a first time watch for both of us so it could be an interesting episode!
-
230
APOES Travels to South America 5 - Tigers Are Not Afraid (2017)
What's up Dream Warriors! We're coming at you with Brooke's pick of June and our second last Latin American film, Tigers Are Not Afraid from 2017. This movie was directed by Issa Lopez and we both agree that she seriously needs to direct more movies. This one is such an emotional rollercoaster in the realm of Guillermo Del Toro and we need more like it. If you haven't watched this movie, we definitely recommend you do! Come back in 2 weeks for our Latin America finale and Marc's pick of the month, Cronos, which is GDT's first ever full length movie.
-
229
APOES Travels to South America 4 - The House at the End of Time (2013)
What's up Dream Warriors! We took a trip to Venezuela this week to discuss, what we learned is, Venezuela's most popular and distributed movie ever, The House at the End of Time from 2013! This movie is a mindfuckery of looping timelines with past and present mingling like acquaintances at a cocktail party. If you've seen this one give us your thoughts! Come back in a couple of weeks where we've decided to expand our ranges to Latin America and will be including Mexican films moving forward. With that being said, Brooke's pick next episode will be Tigers Are Not Afraid!
-
228
APOES Travels to South America 3 - Pure Blood/Pura Sangre (1982)
What's up Dream Warriors! Oohh boy, did Brooke ever pick one for this week's episode. We stopped off in Columbia to discuss 1982's little known movie, Pure Blood or Pura Sangre, and we did not have a great time. Although, it does seem like we're in the minority with our score as this one is pretty highly rated but we just found it very boring with not a lot going on. Not to mention it was almsot impossible to find a copy to watch! Come back in 2 weeks where we'll be in Venezuela to talk about Marc's pick, The House at the End of Time!
-
227
APOES Travels to South America 2 - Terrified (2017)
What's up Dream Warriors! For our second stop in South America we traveled to Argentina to discuss Marc's pick of Terrified from 2017. Demian Rugna walked with this movie so he could run with When Evil Lurks! We're both excited to see what else he comes up in the future because this guy can direct a damn movie. Come back in 2 weeks for Brooke's pick of Pure Blood, which is a movie neither of us has heard of and know nothing about, so it should be interesting!
-
226
APOES Travels to South America 1 - The Green Inferno (2013)
What's up Dream Warriors! We wrapped up our trip to Australia with our last episode, so that means we're traveling to South America for the next 3 months! Our first stop is the Peruvian Rainforest where we come face to face with a bloodthirsty tribe of cannibals in Eli Roth's The Green Inferno. This was Brooke's pick and his first time watching and it may be his last. Come back in 2 weeks where we'll be stopping in Argentina for Marc's pick, Terrified!
-
225
APOES Travels to Australia 6 - Talk To Me (2023)
What's up Dream Warriors! We have officially wrapped up our trip to Australia with Talk To Me! This is one of the biggest movies to come out of Australia and it took the horror world by storm while also helping to give the Philippou Brothers a name in horror. They already have 2 more movies in the works, with the sequel to this movie being one of them and we honestly can't wait for either movie. Cheers Australia! It's been a slice but it's time to pack our bags and make our way over to South America where we'll be taking on The Green Inferno for Brooke's first pick!
-
224
APOES Travels to Australia 5 - The Loved Ones (2009)
What's up Dream Warriors! This is our second last movie in Australia and Brooke picked a banger with The Loved Ones from 2009. This movie seriously does not get talked about enough; it's a gem that deserves every bit of praise it receives. There's a sadistic father/daughter duo, great torture scenes and a good sprinkling of comedy to make this movie really stand out. Come back in 2 weeks for our conclusion of our trip to Australia, where we'll be talking about none other than Talk to Me (I mean really, how could we not cover this movie while doing a whole series on Aussie movies)!
-
223
APOES Travels to Australia 4 - Wolf Creek (2005)
What's up Dream Warriors! We're still in Australia and this week we learned there's more to fear in Australia than gators, wild boars and dingos; there's a sadistic sonofabitch that goes by the name of Mick Taylor and he means business! This week we covered Wolf Creek, which was a first time watch for Brooke and a very distant rewatch for Marc. Did this movie live up to the standards we had for it or does it deserve to be put on the Outback-burner? Come back in 2 weeks for Brooke's pick of The Loved Ones!
-
222
APOES Travels to Australia 3 - Boar (2017)
What's up Dream Warriors! We're still in the outback kicking ass but instead of zombies this week, we're squaring off with a rhino-sized boar in....Boar from 2017. This is a lower budget creature feature but it packs a big punch and it's great time! If you've ever seen this movie out in the wild and decided against watching it, we highly recommend you change your mind and give it a watch! Come back in 2 weeks for Marc's next pick and arguably one of the most popular Australian horror movies until recent years, Wolf Creek!
-
221
APOES Travels to Australia 2 - Wyrmwood (2014)
What's up Dream Warriors! We're still kickin' it in Australia but this month we're battling hordes of zombies and asshole SWAT wannabes in Wyrmwood from 2014. This movie is like Mad Max meets The Walking Dead on a low budget. It had some good moments but the subplot kinda took us both of out it. It's worth checking out if you've never seen it! Come back in 2 weeks for Brooke's pick of February with Boar from 2017!
-
220
APOES Travels to Australia 1 - The Invisible Man (2020)
What's up Dream Warriors! It's a new year but we're the same podcast, except this year we're doing things a little different. We've decided to take a trip around the world for 2025, so each quarter is going to be focusing on movies from a specific continent. We're kicking the year off in Australia and our first movie will be The Invisible Man from 2020! Every episode from now until the end of March will be focused on horror movies filmed in Australia. Come back in 2 weeks for Marc's pick of the month, Wyrmwood!
-
219
The Mean One (2022)
What's up Dream Warriors! It's our last episode of 2024, and Marc had to jump on the Christmas Horror train with his pick of The Mean One from 2022. This is a parody horror of The Grinch, if you didn't already know, and it definitely had some decent moments but overall we were not a fan of this one. If you've seen it, give us your thoughts! We want to take this time to thank you all again from the bottom of our cold, Canadian hearts for 5 flippin years of support and we're so stoked to finish yet another year with you all! Come back in the new year for Brooke's first pick of 2025, The Invisible Man from 2020!

MaXXXine
What's up Dream Warriors! This episode had us returning to Ti West's trilogy to cover MaXXXine and watch her finally become the fucking star that she is! This movie is full of crazy characters and balls to the concrete gore, but did it live up to our standards close out a trilogy that could have been damn near perfect? You'll have to listen to find out! Come back in a couple of weeks where we'll have a first time guest to cover Brooke's December pick of 2006's Black Christmas remake!

Midsommar (Director's Cut) Redux Episode
What's up Dream Warriors! We cannot believe this day has come but we've officially been doing this podcast for 5 flippin' years! So we decided to celebrate by redoing Midsommar, which was our first ever episode! And if you've listened to that episode, we sincerely apologize because man oh man that was a rough one! We hope we were able to do this movie a better justice in this episode and here's to maybe another 5 years! Come back in a couple of weeks to hear us talk about Maxxxine, which is one we've both been itching to watch but just haven't yet.

This will be a 2 part "series" with Part 1 being episodes 1-5 and then wrapping up episode 6-10 in Part 2 in our next episode. In this episode we catch up on missed time, go through each episode briefly and discuss our thoughts on the show as whole as well as rank each of the first 5 episodes.
