Johnson Chippendale - Chair of Wuthathi Corporation.
Two Native Title Determinations were finalised today in Cairns. The Honourable Justice Greenwood presided over the Determination hearings on behalf of Wuthathi, Kuuku Ya'u and Northern Kaanju peoples. The first claim is for 1,645.1 square kilometers comprising the land and waters subject to two former pastoral holdings known as Bromley and Boynton. The second is 1,181.2 square kilometers over an area of land in and around Shelburne Bay on the east coast of the Cape York Peninsula.
