Abe Loves Movies

Merry Christmas!  It's Christmas Eve, so here's a present for you - a new episode! In this one, me and my friend Theo will tell you about a hilarious new Christmas movie (which by the way you should watch TODAY. But after you LISTEN to this) called DEAR SANTA starring Jack Black, where a small spelling error leads to a big surprise. Make sure you listen till the end, because we got someone interesting on the phone... that's all I'm saying for now. Have a great holiday and hope you get a visit from Santa and not Satan. 

Soooo I don't want to offend every single other movie out there, but this is my new favorite movie ever! Well, favorite comedy ever. I think I know every line and I just watched it for the first time a few weeks ago.  You decide whether I've watched it a TON of times or if I have a crazy good memory. Well, Halloween just finished (tear, tear)... time to start celebrating Christmas!  And Hanukkah! It seems like November 1st, immediately the Halloween stuff is down and all the Christmas stuff is up. So on that note... We're doing a holiday movie! Not just any holiday movie, but in my opinion the FUNNIEST one out there, ELF, starring Will Ferrell and Zoey Deschanel. This movie is family friendly and great for all ages... so grab some hot chocolate, a little bit of peppermint popcorn (is that a thing?) curl up by the fire and watch Elf, I mean listen to my podcast episode about Elf!

The Illumination movie, SING, is always fun to go back and watch, or watch for the first time!  Plus, it has great music, and a cast of awesome actors, whose voices you might recognize. Listen along as Abe tells you all about the movie!

Tony Stark is a super interesting character, who builds an awesome suit that can do all kinds of crazy stuff. Wow, wow, wow,  this is a special episode... we can't believe it, but Abe got to interview his idol, the creator of his favorite horror franchise, Child's Play, aka CHUCKY, Don Mancini! Don told Abe some really cool stories, that you've probably never heard before.  Everything from how he  came up with the idea for the movie, and what the original idea was, to how he feels about certain aspects of the TV show, which is currently available on Peacock, with the second half of season 3 dropping April 10th!  Don was the nicest person ever, and Abe loved chatting with him. We can't wait for you to hear all about all things Chucky! 

Abe and his BFF, Jonah, dissect the 1991 Bill Murray comedy, What About Bob? Wait, what about him? Who? Bob. What about Bob? That's what we said. What About Bob?! Nevermind, just listen!

Abe gets into the animated movie of the best selling book series, Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Listen along!
