    06.17.17 (KNX RMX)

Knxwledge is one of my favorite artists right now. Some of the rawest beats out there. His catalogue is nothing short of insane. There's the endless stream of beat tapes on bandcamp (https://knxwledge.bandcamp.com/). There's his work with Anderson .Paak, Kendrick, Mach Hommy, and many others. And, of course, the remixes. Damn, those remixes. This mix is all Knwledge, all remixes (with a lone instrumental thrown in once or twice for good measure). In no way is this exhaustive. Re-done tracks feat. Nas, Missy Elliot, Rihanna, The LOX, The Roots, Erykah Badu, Camp Lo, Frank Ocean, AZ, Notorious B.I.G., and others. Soundtrack: 1. Nyeve [WhereDat.intro] 2. BuukofRhymes 3. Hotboi [twrk] 4. 01.31.17 (FROM THE VAULTS)

I made this back in 2013. Back when I used to buy vinyl doubles of "exotica" records. Back when "Champion Sound" turned a decade old: one of my favorite albums by far (in any genre), made by the two individuals pictured in this photo. This mix was basically done as an homage to the creative process that birthed that album. Tracks run the gamut from untitled beats and singles that never made the finished "Champion Sound", album cuts, and samples from all over the globe (LITERALLY) from French Prog-Rock to West African Cubano to Bollywood. Turn it up. Soundtrack: 1. Intro 2. McNasty Filth 3. Melancholy Man 4. Psyche Rock 5. Pop Shit 6. Raw Shit 7. Kyenkyen Bi Adi Mawu 8. Dharmatma Theme Music (Sad) 9. Champion Sound 10.
