Humanity (Magic Wands Remix)
Killing Kind unveil Humanity (Magic Wands Remix), the fourth single from their album Being Human. Since its release, Being Human has drawn attention from independent music outlets and bloggers for its dark textures, melodic depth, and immersive post-punk and synth-driven sound. Being Human was released on October 31 last year and sparked a variety of positive commentary across the indie music press. Late in 2025, Killing Kind connected with American duo Magic Wands, leading to a remix that reshapes Humanity with club-ready drums and shadowy electronic energy - bringing a fresh, dance-oriented dimension to the track. Killing Kind singer Björn Norberg shares his enthusiasm for the collaboration: “I’m extremely happy with the update. The way they combined the original melodies with the dance beats is both exciting and surprising - and you know, I like to be surprised! They really put some magic into it.” Magic Wands are an American dark dream pop duo formed in Nashville, Tennessee, by guitarists and vocalists Chris and Dexy Valentine, and now based in Los Angeles. Known for their shimmering, dreamy sound blending gothic post-punk with ethereal atmospheres, they’ve built a reputation for richly textured music that bridges shadowy introspection and movement. Killing Kind’s base camp is in an old mining district north of Uppsala, Sweden, although several members are based in Stockholm. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2023, followed by Being Human in 2025, which includes the original version of Humanity. Shortly after the album’s release, the band connected with Chris and Dexy from Magic Wands - ultimately resulting in this remix. The new single is released via Aenaos Records and Viskningar och Vrål.

With The One
The new The Slimp single “With the One”, to be released on February 27, 2026, is based on material that has been around for a long time. The first sketch dates to 1999, recorded by Mart on a 4-track cassette recorder. The recording found its way to Kristian Bleed in San Diego, singer of Candy Push, who added the first verse. After that, the song remained unfinished for many years. Only decades later did this fragment resurface and slowly turned into what is now “With the One”. The track reflects this process. It deals with looking forward and looking back, with disappointed expectations, bitterness and personal defeat. The central question “If a promise is forever and tomorrow may never come” runs through the song without offering resolution. A spoken passage, inspired by Anne Clark, underlines the reflective tone. Musically, the song is carried by two basses in dialogue, completed by some screaming guitars. Earlier in February, The SlimP released “Winterday”, a more restrained and atmospheric counterpart. Where “Winterday” captures a frozen present, “With the One” unfolds over time, marked by distance and deferred completion. Together with “Nothing to Forget” (2025), both singles form a coherent continuation of The SlimP’s recent work, focused on memory, loss and what remains once certainty has faded.

Winterday
On February 6, 2026, The SlimP released their new single “Winterday”. The song was written during a winter walk along the Rhine, moving through the cold, with familiar music in the ears. Deine Lakaien were part of that soundtrack, and with them, inevitably, the voice of Alexander Veljanov. “Winterday” is reduced in its arrangement. Bass and vocals remain at the center, with atmosphere doing most of the work around them. The lyrics move through loss, disorientation and a sense of quiet persistence. Images repeat, almost insistently. “Dancing through the snow” suggests movement but not progress. In the third verse, the song reaches a point where disappointment and collapse are stated plainly, without metaphorical distance. Background vocals by Silke Burkhard, a longtime friend and first drummer of the band, appear discreetly and add a layer of familiarity and remembrance. There is nostalgia here, but also a certain dryness. As the band’s bassist summed it up: The SlimP have grown older and a little more pathetically. “Winterday” is closely linked to “With the One”, the second single to be released on February 27, 2026. While “Winterday” remains fixed in a specific moment, “With the One” stretches across time, shaped by delay, distance and retrospection. Both tracks continue the thematic line introduced with “Nothing To Forget” (2025), where memory and erosion first moved into focus.

A Million Times - Albert Severin Remix
Following the release of "Center of Your World" earlier this year, and a series of singles showcasing a more introspective side to his songwriting, Fernando's Eyes is back with "Bonus Tracks & Remixes", a compilation reflecting the creative process behind that album. The compilation will be available digitally and as a limited-edition CD on November 21. It gathers together all the remixes produced during the "Center of Your World" sessions, some of which were previously released as B-sides to singles and others which are appearing here for the first time. Alongside these reworkings are several bonus tracks originally intended for the album, including a cover of "Change", the 2013 track by English band White Lies. The release showcases the collaborative nature of Honorato’s music, featuring reinterpretations by artists who have a creative connection to his work, including Danish Post Punk band The Foreign Resort and Finnish artist and multi-instrumentalist Jaakko Eino Kalevi, among others. The result is a cohesive yet exploratory collection suited to reflective listening throughout the autumn and winter months. Wrong Face
With "Wrong Face", the first single from the upcoming album "Monsters", due at the end of November, Voyna - the side project of Golden Apes frontman Peer Lebrecht - returns four years after their debut with a refreshingly unpretentious and captivating track. "Wrong Face" is an elegantly shimmering post-punk/pop gem, the tension between the dynamically bass-driven sparseness of the verses and the airy, almost buoyant chorus being key to its charm. It is a subtle play of light and shadow, tied together by melodic inventiveness and meticulously crafted musical details. Exultant yet quietly wistful, the song almost lets you catch the wink hidden in the line "...this is a wrong track...", balancing melancholy and lightness with effortless charm. (Vito Schneider)

More For You
Following the June release of his debut solo album Center of Your World, Honorato returns with a new single from his project Fernando’s Eyes. “More For You” channels the raw urgency of 90s grunge while retaining his unmistakable post-punk edge—a track that balances passion and frustration in both sound and lyric. The single also features two remixes of the album cut “Crystal”: one by Swedish electro artist Oplen (ex–Agent Side Grinder) and another by Finnish multi-instrumentalist Jaakko Eino Kalevi. Praised for its intimacy and atmospheric depth, Center of Your World has been described as “deeply personal, almost confessional, but at the same time with a theatrical scale” (Indie Boulevard). With “More For You,” Honorato pushes his sound into darker and more direct territory—paving the way for another single in October and a full remix album with bonus tracks arriving on CD in November.
