by Afrocentric
Established in 2005 Centric Music was born from the frustration of two friends, fed up of not hearing consis"After running Centric Music for 7 years I started Afrocentric Records with the aim of showcasing some of the high quality house music coming out of the African Continent, which I feel is too easily lost in the stacks of new music being released. I want to provide a platform for these talented producers and artist’s to expose them to a wider audience by releasing their music across the world in Digital and vinyl format as well as getting selected tracks remixed by producers who you don’t usually associate with the Afro house Genre." - Cory Centric

With Sons of Ausar, Deep Owen delivers a striking return to the spiritual pulse of Afro House — a genre that, over the years, has oscillated between lush melodic experimentation and pure rhythmic muscle. Techno Bors & Tribe Of Afro (feat. Amel Chrispin)
It's been a while since we had Techno Bros on Afrocentric. Featuring Amel Crispin and a collaboration with House Villans and Courtney Ellis The It's Me Girl EP by the Techno Bros blends rhythmic percussion with infectious grooves across three dynamic tracks. Kicking off with two vocal-driven vocal Afro House tracks, the EP sets an uplifting tone with smooth, soulful vocals layered over deep, rolling basslines and vibrant drum patterns. These tracks invite listeners to the dancefloor with their catchy melodies and rich Afrocentric influence. The third track shifts gears with an instrumental Afro Tech Mystic Falls where the focus moves to intricate beats, pulsing bass, and atmospheric synths. This track offers a more minimalist, hypnotic vibe, showcasing the Techno Bros’ ability to craft tension and groove without relying on vocals. Throughout the EP, the production is tight and polished, highlighting the duo’s talent for blending Afro House rhythms with contemporary electronic elements. Overall, this release offers a fresh take on Afro-inspired dance music, appealing to both vocal and instrumental music lovers alike.

Apocalypto
An artist who has been on the label from the start we welcome back Kates Le Cafe A 3 track ep with 3 vastly different-sounding songs. Up first is the lead track Apocalypto, the only way to describe this is a driving percussion workout built around haunting strings and a deep dirty piano breakdown. While he drafts in label mate Sky White for The Pangolin, they switch it up with a monster of a track built around a nice vocal, a nifty keys. To close out the ep we take it back Isidawana harks back to the days when Afro House did what it said on the tin. Drums, Trumpets, Flutes, congas, and Bongos all combine to make a BANGER. ABOUT THIS SHOW
Established in 2005 Centric Music was born from the frustration of two friends, fed up of not hearing consis"After running Centric Music for 7 years I started Afrocentric Records with the aim of showcasing some of the high quality house music coming out of the African Continent, which I feel is too easily lost in the stacks of new music being released. I want to provide a platform for these talented producers and artist’s to expose them to a wider audience by releasing their music across the world in Digital and vinyl format as well as getting selected tracks remixed by producers who you don’t usually associate with the Afro house Genre." - Cory Centric
