Witch Hat Atelier Recap | Ep.8 The Misgivings of the Knights Moralis

In this episode of After Hours Arc, I recap Episode 8 of Witch Hat Atelier, where Coco and Agott’s capture with the Knights Moralis turns into a full standoff. Richeh blasts in and burns the pennants (“I had to rewind it because it happened so fast”), Qifrey steps in with the Rain Cleaver, and the Knights back off.But the real danger starts when Qifrey notices Coco’s ink vial is still full and panics. Their trip to Kalhn reveals it’s tied to a forbidden spell and after a bright flash of light, Nolnoa suddenly remembers nothing?Meanwhile, Coco learns Tartah’s “silverwash” eyes make becoming a witch nearly impossible.Episode 8 raises the stakes again: forbidden magic, missing memories, and Qifrey’s obsession closing in.🎧⭐ New episodes drop weekly — follow along as I recap and review anime one arc at a time.

In this episode of After Hours Arc, vibe check with me as I talk about testing out video recording, why the audio betrayed me, and how that spiraled into a special re‑record just for here. Witch Hat Atelier Recap | Ep.7 Who Is Magic For?

In this episode of After Hours Arc, join me as I recap Episode 7 of Witch Hat Atelier, where a simple storm rescue turns into the most intense moment of the season for Agathe and Coco. What starts as a routine mission escalates fast. Qifrey parts an entire river with the Rain Cleaver, Olruggio pushes Agott to rethink what magic is for, and Coco ends up hanging off a cliff in the mud trying to save a boy trapped under a boulder. Agott's self‑doubt finally cracks open, leading to a full mental spiral before she unleashes her brightest spell yet to distract the crowd.Using everything she learned in Episode 6, Coco pulls off her first real emergency spell and manages to save him, proving her determination isn’t just talk. But just as the girls catch their breath, the Knights Moralis descend, bind them with silver‑white pennants, and Easthies himself steps in with zero mercy.By the end, Coco and Agott are captured, the riverbed has mysteriously turned to sand, and the threat of forbidden magic hangs over everything. Isekai | Trash or Treasure?

In this episode of After Hours Arc, I run through a mix of Isekai series. This lineup ended up being way more entertaining than I expected.I get into The World’s Finest Assassin , Misfit at Demon King Academy, A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation, Konosuba, Isekai Office Worker, and Arifureta. Each one hits a totally different lane: comedy, overpowered fantasy, slow‑life chill, and full chaotic energy. What surprised me most is how differently these isekai land. Some are messy and unhinged, some are cozy, and some are way better than their tropes should allow. A few definitely caught me off guard in the best way.Overall, it’s a solid mix of isekai comedy, OP Main Characters, slow‑life fantasy, and survival‑style isekai, and a reminder that not every show has to hit the same way to be worth watching.🎧⭐ New episodes drop weekly — follow along as I recap and review anime one arc at a time.Isekai Office Worker : https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/isekai-office-worker-he-just-wanted-a-job-not-a-boyfriend/id1884184288?i=1000758718193

Scooped Up By An S-Rank Adventurer | My Unexpected Comfort Show

In this episode of After Hours Arc, I get into Scooped Up by an S‑Ranked Adventurer, the anime that blindsided me and turned into a full comfort show. Lloyd’s whole arc, being raised by Merlin, being convinced he’s weak, getting kicked out, and then finally being appreciated hit way harder than I expected.I go through why the S‑Rank party works so well, how Lloyd’s support magic is basically broken, the monster‑summoning mystery, Claire’s ancient magic, and the finale that had me clutching my chest when Lloyd almost gets pulled into the void. It’s a short series, but it’s packed with heart, comedy, and a genuinely sweet found‑family dynamic.🎧⭐ New episodes drop weekly — follow along as I recap and review anime one arc at a time.

Witch Hat Atelier Recap | Ep.6 A Light On A Rainy Day

In this episode of After Hours Arc, I recap Episode 6 of Witch Hat Atelier — “A Light on a Rainy Day”, a quieter chapter focused on character growth. Agott trains relentlessly — “her eyes are closed… a beam of light just shoots up” — while Coco struggles with her pen, learns from Qifrey, and finds new motivation in her magic. We also meet Olruggio, the Atelier’s watchful eye, and discover he created the glowstone path that first made Coco fall in love with magic: “This is the spell that made her fall in love with magic in the first place.”If you’re into character‑driven episodes, quiet emotional beats, and new pieces of the world’s magical hierarchy, this one delivers in a big way.🎧⭐ New episodes drop weekly — follow along as I recap and review anime one arc at a time.

From Tetia’s cloud spell to Agott’s walls finally starting to crack, this episode becomes a turning point for the whole group. Wind Breaker s1 | A Shonen That Packs A Punch Emotionally

In this episode of After Hours Arc, I finally re‑record my thoughts on Windbreaker Season 1 — and I genuinely didn’t expect this show to hit me as hard as it did. What looks like a simple high school fighting show, turns into a surprisingly emotional story about belonging. We follow Sakura, a kid who’s spent his whole life treated like an outsider, as he arrives at Furin expecting chaos… only to find a community that actually cares. From there, the season becomes this uplifting mix of fights, friendships, and real character growth. In this episode of After Hours Arc, I finally dive into Season 1 of Dr. Stone — and honestly, I did not expect to get hooked like this. We’re talking about a world where humanity is suddenly turned to stone… and 3,700 years later, civilization has completely reset. Witch Hat Atelier Recap | Episodes 1–2 Double Premiere

In this episode of After Hours Arc, I get into the first two episodes of Witch Hat Atelier — and this one pulled me in immediately. We follow Coco, a girl obsessed with magic in a world where she’s told she’ll never be able to use it. But once she discovers how magic actually works, everything changes — and it leads to a moment that completely flips her life upside down. From there, we move into the Atelier, where her journey really begins. We meet new characters, start learning the magic system, and get a better sense of how dangerous this world actually is.What stood out to me right away is how magic works in this series. Everything is drawn, not spoken, and that makes every moment feel more precise and more risky. Two episodes in, and I’m already locked in.🎧⭐ New episodes drop weekly — follow along as I recap and review anime one arc at a time.

Isekai Office Worker | He Just Wanted a Job, Not a Boyfriend

In this episode of After Hours Arc, I get into The Otherworld’s Books Depend on the Bean Counter — and this one honestly surprised me.We follow Seiichiro, who gets pulled into another world by accident and instead of becoming some hero, he asks for a job. From there, he ends up working as an accountant inside the palace, and that’s where everything starts to unfold. What begins as a slow, almost comfort-type isekai turns into something with a lot more going on. Between the kingdom’s financial issues, the miasma problem, and everything happening inside the church, there’s a lot more beneath the surface than I expected. At the same time, the relationship between Seiichiro and Aresh is what really holds everything together. It starts off a little chaotic, but as the season goes on, it turns into something much more balanced. This ended up being way more than just a BL isekai for me.🎧⭐ New episodes drop weekly — follow along as I recap and review anime one arc at a time.

I Was Completely Wrong About This Anime Release!

In this episode of After Hours Arc, I switch things up a bit and just talk through what I’ve been watching, what’s coming up this season, and where I’m at with everything right now. This one’s a little more open — just me figuring things out in real time, from my recording setup to how I want to approach new shows moving forward.I get into Witch Hat Atelier and realizing I completely messed up the release schedule, plus how that actually works out better for my upload timing.I also talk about what I’m watching right now, including Dr. Stone and Hell’s Paradise, and how both of those are hitting for me in very different ways.On top of that, I go through what I’m skipping this season, what I might come back to, and why some shows just don’t work for me — even if I wanted them to.This episode is definitely more laid back, but it gave me a chance to reset a bit and figure out how I want to move going forward.🎧⭐ New episodes drop weekly — follow along as I recap and review anime one arc at a time.Winter 2026 Round-Up: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/winter-2026-round-up-what-vibe-i-went-with-this-winter/id1884184288?i=1000757504782

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 FINAL Recap | EP.12 Sendai Colony

In this episode of After Hours Arc, I get into Episode 12 of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 — and this was a strong close to the first part of the core.We pick up with Yuta in the Sendai Colony, and from the start it’s nonstop action. This turns into a full three-way fight with Kuroushi, Uro, and Ishigori, and it just keeps escalating. What I liked most is how Yuta fights. He’s not just overpowering people — he’s adapting, thinking ahead, and still trying to protect everyone around him.Once Rika fully comes into play, everything shifts and the fight gets way more intense. And seeing all three of them attempt domain expansion at the same time was wild.By the end, it comes down to Yuta vs Ishigori, and it felt like a perfect way to close this part of the season.🎧⭐ New episodes drop weekly — follow along as I recap and review anime one arc at a time.

From there, the story really becomes about what happens when you don’t fit into a system that values extremes. What I liked most is how the show handles that idea. Instead of immediately proving everyone wrong, it leans into how being well-rounded can actually get you overlooked.Once Ohrun starts working with a new group, you really see his value come through — not just in combat, but in how he understands team dynamics and adapts in real time. It’s not perfect, and some parts didn’t fully land for me, but the core idea carries it.Overall, this is one that does just enough differently to stand out.🎧⭐ New episodes drop weekly — follow along as I recap and review anime one arc at a time.

Mashle: Magic and Muscles | This Shouldn’t Work… But It Does

**I DEFINITELY meant to say Wahlberg's magic was Space magic, not time. Don't Come for me pleaseIn this episode of After Hours Arc, I get into Mashle: Magic and Muscles — and this one caught me off guard. We follow Mash, a character with zero magic in a world that revolves around it, and instead of spells, he’s solving everything with pure strength. What I liked most is how committed the show is to its humor. It leans fully into the ridiculousness, but still builds a story underneath it with real stakes. As things progress, it becomes more than just a joke. Between the academy, the divine visionary system, and Innocent Zero, the world starts to open up in a bigger way. It’s simple, it’s funny, and it does just enough to keep things interesting.🎧⭐ New episodes drop weekly — follow along as I recap and review anime one arc at a time.

    Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Recap Ep.11 | Tokyo Colony No.1 (pt.5)

In this episode of After Hours Arc, I get into Episode 11 of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 — and this one was all about Fushiguro. We pick up right in the middle of his fight with Reggie, and this turns into a really tactical battle inside his Chimera Shadow Garden. We also get some smaller moments with Takaba, plus a big introduction with Angel, which I’ve been waiting for.And then at the end, we shift over to the Sendai Colony and finally see Yuta — and that alone was enough to get me excited for what’s next.🎧⭐ New episodes drop weekly — follow along as I recap and review anime one arc at a time.

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End s1 | Why This Story Hits So Hard

In this episode of After Hours Arc, I get into Frieren Season 1 — and this one surprised me right away. This isn’t your typical fantasy setup. The story starts after everything is already over, and from there it takes a much slower, more reflective approach. What stood out to me most is the tone. It’s calm, but there’s always something underneath it that keeps you locked in.As the journey continues, the world opens up more, new characters come in, and you start to understand what this story is really about without it being forced. The pacing, the atmosphere, and the way it handles its quieter moments all worked for me.This is one that’s definitely worth checking out if you want something different.🎧⭐ New episodes drop weekly — follow along as I recap and review anime one arc at a time.

    Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Recap | Ep.10 Tokyo Colony No.1 (pt.4)

In this episode of After Hours Arc, I get into Episode 10 of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 — and this one keeps things moving. We pick back up with Fushiguro, and it quickly turns into a chaotic, multi-layered fight. What I liked most is how tactical everything feels. It’s not just power — it’s positioning, timing, and adapting in real time.We also get a new character that completely shifts the tone in a way I wasn’t expecting.By the end, it is clear that things are building into something much bigger.🎧⭐ New episodes drop weekly — follow along as I recap and review anime one arc at a time.

Let This Grieving Soul Retire | Misunderstanding Done Right

In this episode of After Hours Arc, I get into Let This Grieving Soul Retire — and this one ended up being way more fun than I expected. We follow a main character who’s somehow leading one of the strongest groups around… even though he clearly doesn’t want to be there. What really works is the contrast between how everyone sees him and what’s actually going on. That misunderstanding carries the entire show and makes it way more entertaining than it should be.As things go on, more characters get introduced, the world opens up a bit, and the chaos just keeps building. It’s not taking itself too seriously, and that’s exactly why it works. This is one I had a really good time with.🎧⭐ New episodes drop weekly — follow along as I recap and review anime one arc at a time.

Fate/Stay Night UBW | Overrated or Masterpiece?

In this episode of After Hours Arc, I get into Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works — and this one was a mix for me.The setup with the Holy Grail War pulls you in right away, and there’s a lot going on between masters and servants. What stood out most is the presentation. The animation and fights looked really good whenever they were on screen. At the same time, not everything landed the way I expected, but the characters carried a lot of it for me.Overall, I enjoyed it — just not exactly how I thought I would going in.🎧⭐ New episodes drop weekly — follow along as I recap and review anime one arc at a time.

The Apothecary Diaries s1 | Poison, Politics & Secrets Done Right

In this episode of After Hours Arc, I get into The Apothecary Diaries Season 1 — and this one caught me off guard. What starts as a simple setup quickly turns into something way deeper, with Maomao navigating the imperial palace and solving problems no one else can figure out. What really hooked me is how smart everything feels. The mix of mystery, politics, and subtle details keeps you paying attention the whole time. This is one that just keeps getting better the more you watch.🎧⭐ New episodes drop weekly — follow along as I recap and review anime one arc at a time.

    Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Recap | Ep.9 Tokyo Colony No.1 (pt.3)

**Forgot to add in my intro as always these are Manga Free POV's**In this episode of After Hours Arc, I get into Episode 9 of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 — and this one really locks in.We pick up with Yuji and Higuruma, and the entire episode stays focused on their fight inside his domain. What stood out to me is how different this feels. It’s not just a fight — it’s built around rules, judgment, and how Yuji responds under pressure. As things build, the tension keeps rising, especially once the retrial comes into play.By the end, this felt like a big moment for Yuji’s character.🎧⭐ New episodes drop weekly — follow along as I recap and review anime one arc at a time.

    A Shonen Episode

In this episode of After Hours Arc, I switch things up and run through a few different shonen — and this one ended up being more fun than I expected.I get into Hunter x Hunter, Mashle, Togen Anki, and Gachiakuta, all with very different styles and tones. What stood out to me is how different each of these feels. Some lean heavy into character and story, while others are just straight-up fun to watch. There were definitely a few surprises in here, especially with the ones I didn’t expect to enjoy as much.Overall, this was a solid mix — and a good reminder that not every show has to hit the same way to be worth watching.🎧⭐ New episodes drop weekly — follow along as I recap and review anime one arc at a time.

    Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Recap | Ep.8 Tokyo Colony No.1 (pt.2)

In this episode of After Hours Arc, I get into Episode 8 of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 — and this one is all setup. We pick up with multiple perspectives, jumping between Yuji and Fushiguro as everything starts to come together. What stood out to me here is the tone. There’s not a lot of action, but the tension is high the entire time. The biggest focus is Higuruma, and you can already tell he’s going to be a problem.By the end, everything feels like it’s about to explode — it’s just a matter of when.🎧⭐ New episodes drop weekly — follow along as I recap and review anime one arc at a time.

    Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Recap | Ep.7 Tokyo Colony No.1 (pt.1)

In this episode of After Hours Arc, I get into Episode 7 of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 — and this is where things really start moving.Right away, we get a surprising callback that I definitely didn’t catch at first, and it sets the tone for everything going forward. What stood out to me most is how much setup finally starts paying off. Between Hakari joining in and the new rules being added, the Culling Game actually starts to take shape. As things go on, the strategy becomes just as important as the fights, especially with how they plan to use the point system.By the end, we’re fully inside the game, new players are introduced, and it’s clear things are about to get chaotic fast.🎧⭐ New episodes drop weekly — follow along as I recap and review anime one arc at a time.
