After Youth Group

After a long break we are back!! Join us this week as we hear from Young Author Lexi Howell!! Hear her share her journey of faith through her youth group experiences. She talks about life on the narrow road and being an overcomer. She has accomplished some incredible things at a young age including writing 3 books.

WE'RE BACK! After a break we're back with our latest episode of the After Youth Group Podcast. My special guest this week is my dear friend MELISSA VASILIE!! Melissa is an artist, actress, and has excelled in her professional career as a Customer Solutions Specialist/PR Person for a large company. On this episode Melissa talks about how she didnt got to church until high school through a local youth group and the impact it had on her life. She also discusses the importance of finding that stillness in our lives. We also side bar and chat a bit about positives and negative of attending a Christian college.

Joining us this week on the After Youth group podcast is US Army Staff Sergeant Joe Nettleton. Joe shares his story of how he got connected to youth group while being in high school and the connection he made with his youth pastor. He then shares about joining the Army while in Bible college and how he got deployed while serving as youth pastor. He shares some incredible stories about Afghanistan and connections he made there. Joining us this week on the After Youth Group Podcast is Tim Roberts. Tim grew up serving on the mission field with his parents in Latvia. Hear him share about life as a Missionary Kid and some of the challenges he faced. He talks about his spiritual formation outside of a youth group setting to eventually joining a leadership team at his home church in the States. He also shares his thoughts on church politics, youth group hype culture, and his experiences in a leadership role at Youth Camp. We wrap up the episode with Tim sharing the positives that really stuck with him throughout his journey.
