    A living legend of women's basketball is coming to Charters Towers tomorrow afternoon at the PCYC to give a basketball clinic to kids in the Northern Goldfields. In attendance will be 5-time Olympian, World Champion, WNBA MVP, and Basketball Hall of Famer Lauren Jackson will be joined by her Opals teammate and 2024 Olympic Bronze Medal–winning captain Tess Madgen.I gave the details this morning on the brekky show this morning.

    Largest silver service dinner

    I served up another Guinness world record that was quite the celebratory affair. It's the record for the world's largest silver service dinner. It was an event for the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Centennial Celebration Dinner hosted by the Walter E. Washington Convention Center (USA) in Washington DC, USA, back in 2008.

    Farthest throw at the Red Bull Paper Plane Championship

    This high-flying Guinness world record is ready for take off. Back in 2022, Serbian competitor Lazar Krstic soared into the Guinness World Records after throwing a paper plane 61.11 metres at the Red Bull Paper Plane Championships. Definitely counts as a lofty world record.
