The second half of the album feels more contemplative, trance-like, almost shoegaze-y at times, compared to the first half which was borderline dance music. Not a criticism as much as an observation. The album as a whole is very well-rounded, very unique, and unquestionably a must-listen.

Troy's turn this week. What's the opposite of a Naysayer?... Yeasayer! What's the opposite of a boring album? Yeasayer's All Hour Cymbals, a funky Middle Eastern-ish psych pop album with spectacular bass lines and powerful polyrhythmic percussion.
