The Denver Nuggets had the start of all starts as they got out to an early 19 point lead. The Timberwolves needed just five minutes in the 2nd Quarter to reel the Nuggets in and never look back. Though Joker and Jamal kept the Nuggets close, it was enough when it mattered most. The Nuggets missed 2 of their last 12 shots to close the game. The Denver Nuggets started this game cold as ice but all they needed was a quarter to thaw out. Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic did what stars do but Bruce Brown, Cam Johnson, and AG were the 'others' that gave the Nuggets the spark they needed when they needed it. The Nuggets won the 2nd and 3rd Quarters to put themselves in position to survive an attack from the Timberwolves.
