ALYSSA SPEAKS

Being a young adult in this generation, while also trying to live a Holy lifestyle unto God can be difficult at times but I want you to know that it’s worth it. All the sacrifice and time you’ve put in is worth it. Keep pressing, keep seeking God in all that you do. It’s important to be open/honest about the things we go through as young adults, so I wanted to create a space where we can laugh, & genuinely chat, while learning how to apply Biblical teachings to our every day lifestyles. Family (Grief of the past, Love, The desire for deeper relationships with distant relatives etc)

Often time we find ourselves comfortable with the few family members we currently interact with. The few that get together and hang out, the few that celebrate each others birthdays etc. But what if you desire more? What if you do in fact want a deeper relationship with distant family? What if you are grieving how relationships used to be in your family? Let’s chat. ———Follow me on IG @thealyssakristine

This episode was truly like a letter to myself. It is so easy for us to compare ourselves to others or even blame other people for our insecurities. "Self Sabotage (am I the drama? I don't think I'm the drama)"

Yes! You're the drama. You are the one holding you back from achieving the things you have set out todo, also the things that God has ordained you to do. Self sabotage is a drug. We get so comfortable with writing ourselves off, that we never take time or risks to see that something just may be great for us. Relationships, Careers, Education etc. We find ourselves Self Sabotaging more often than we think and it is simply because we do not believe in ourselves. I hope this episode is a blessing to you and can help you better navigate as a young adult in this world that can be oh so, overwhelming. (FOLLOW ME ON IG: @thealyssakristine)

"Do you even want to heal? (story time)"

Healing is a CHOICE. You can either choose to stay in the same place spiritually/emotionally/physically, or you can seek Help. I know not everyone reading this is a believer in Jesus, but can I just show you what his word says about healing real quick? 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽 Isaiah 41:10 ESV “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” 1 Peter 2:24 “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.” (FOLLOW MY IG @thealyssakristine

    "Co-Dependency V.S. Dependency (my truth)"

It’s time to be honest, it’s time to acknowledge certain characteristics about ourselves that are not healthy and that’s exactly what I hoped to do during this episode. If you or anyone else that you know have been in the same situation I hope this can be an eye-opener for you and a blessing. I love you guys let’s heal together❤️.
