After Republican Senator Thom Tillis demanded Acting Attorney General finally meet with Epstein survivors as a condition for his vote to confirm him, Todd Blanche sat down with several of the women at the Justice Department; it didn’t go well.  Several of the women said they were even more convinced that Blanche should not become our next Attorney General, some calling him evasive at best, abrasive and condescending at worst.  Blanche had a much different way of characterizing the meeting, calling it “productive”.  Blanche’s nomination is not a given,  just one Republican “no” vote will end his path to AG.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels stunned a Pensacola Beach crowd with a lower than expected pass that sent beach umbrellas and tents flying, but gave beachgoers a show they won’t soon forget. Have you ever heard of Nihilistic Violent Extremist groups, or NVEs? Well, the FBI wants to make sure you are up to speed on several online groups in this country actively targeting and recruiting your young kids to commit acts of violence towards others and themselves. The warning issued to parents this week reads like a horror movie, with the conviction of a 19-year-old who is just one of dozens of mostly young men who are obsessed with violence and mass killings. Civil rights attorney Ben Crump is now representing the family of 18-year-old Nolan Wells who went missing on the Fourth of July. The college football player set out on a boat with a group of white friends to party with other young adults off the coast of Mississippi. His body was found days later off Horn Island with no explanation of how he ended up dead, in the water. An unbelievable story out of Arizona, after an emergency room doctor pronounced 1-year-old Vincent Fiordilino dead after he fell into the family pool and was underwater for more than 5 minutes. Police body cam footage shows nurses, the family and even officers question whether the boy was actually dead after they saw breathing and a faint pulse. Police say the doctor “arrogantly” insisted the toddler was deceased, and it wasn’t until more than 5 hours later that a transporter from the medical examiner’s office found the toddler alive in the morgue. As the family prepares to sue the doctor and the hospital, prosecutors are considering filing felony child abuse charges against the parents, who were apparently smoking marijuana when the toddler fell in the pool.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The democrat who just won 70 percent of Maine’s vote in the primary election, has now officially dropped out of the race. Graham Platner posted an 11 minute video to X last night, stating clearly that is wasn’t the “false” rape allegations that forced him out, but instead, it was because of the Democratic Party itself. Platner claims the political system and the party took away the funding and structure necessary for him to continue his campaign and made it clear he is innocent of the allegations questionably timed to end his candidacy. We are heartbroken along with the rest of the world to hear the iconic Bonnie Tyler has unexpectedly passed away after getting word that her condition was improving following an emergency intestinal surgery in May. Tyler, who is best known for her Grammy nominated mega hit “Total Eclipse of the Heart” and “Footloose” anthem “I Need A Hero” died in a Portugal hospital, her family saying they would give more details surrounding her death shortly. The term “stealthing” is making headlines after Maine Democrat and Senatorial Candidate Graham Platner has been accused by an ex-girlfriend of repeatedly removing condoms without her consent during sex. We did a deep dive on the subject and were fascinated and frustrated by the lack of recognition from lawmakers in this country about NCCR: Nonconsensual condom removal. Several countries around the world have strict, criminal code on stealthing, categorizing it as a “rape adjacent” crime. The biggest controversy so far in the World Cup has President Trump’s name all over it and the irony isn’t lost on anyone. After Trump put a call into the FIFA president to review a red card given to US star Folarin Balogun, FIFA reversed the decision allowing Balogun to play tonight against Belgium.  It’s a move FIFA has not made since 1962 and it’s a for a player who is only considered an American, because of the very right President Trump has been trying to take away: birthright citizenship.  Belgium officials have officially appealed FIFA’s reversal, but with just hours to go until the match, it seems likely Balogun will, in fact, be on the field tonight for the United States.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

All eyes will be on Capitol Hill today to finally see 57-year-old Tom Kean Jr return to work, after a months-long mysterious disappearance from the public eye. Kean hasn’t been seen publicly since March 5th and has missed more than 100 votes over the past four months. The congressman is running for reelection in a hotly contested seat, so he has a lot of explaining to do, not only to his colleagues, but more importantly, to his constituents, Kean has only said that he was being treated for an unspecified medical condition, but has promised to reveal all in a floor speech in Congress today.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

During last night’s recoupling, we saw the girls each praise the Casa Amor man they coupled up with, some even saying they were the “perfect man.” Then we heard Melanie, Kayda and Aniya all criticize the boy they had been coupled up with, talking about the hurt and distrust they felt for them. FBI Director Kash Patel squared off with Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen today and it got ugly.  Senator Van Hollen asked Patel about “The Atlantic” article alleging excessive drinking on the job and Patel fired back, accusing Van Hollen of “slingin’ margaritas” with a “gangbanger.” Patel was referring to a meeting the Senator had with a mistakenly deported man, where margaritas were placed on the table, but Van Hollen denied drinking them.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

A Texas man who cut off his ankle monitor and fled weeks before his capital murder trial, was in an Italian courtroom today. 40-year-old Lee Gilley was apprehended while trying to enter Milan with a forged Belgian passport that allowed him to flee Texas. Now Gilley’s fate is in the hands of an Italian judge as he fights extradition. The Coast Guard is ramping up its investigation into the disappearance of 55-year-old Lynette Hooker. Hooker’s husband Brian remains a person of interest after telling authorities his wife fell off their 8 foot dinghy in the Bahamas during rough seas.
