It's time to talk about a show that is taking a real cult following (pun intended) in the anime community. A Chinese Donghua (Anime) adapted from a web novel about a group of magic using detectives as they solve crimes and mysteries in a steampunk Post-Victorian world as they combat eldritch, gothic horrors. It's AWESOME. Let's toon in to Lord of Mysteries season 1 and the 3 specials from this June!

The Amazing Digital Circus was the first independent model from GLITCH and written and created by indie animator Gooseworx. And it came to a huge end with a theatrical release, a ton of lame controversy, and what I consider a near perfect ending to a project. Let's toon in for Amazing Digital Circus!

We are back from our Summer Break! Didn't mean to take all of June off but it was a bit of a vacation for me and now I'm back and ready to talk about a ton of stuff and to start off we have Annecy 2026 and all the announcements from Adult Swim, Disney, Dreamworks and Warner Bros. GLITCH dropped their latest show pilot premiere GAMEOVERSE last week and we're here to talk about it along with the production model that GLITCH has seemingly perfected with it's shows and pilots. I've been a follower of Ross and Arin's youtube content for a long time so seeing this finally come to life has been wonderful. Toon in now!

This week Ricky Vang returns for a big discussion about Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 the start of the Culling Game Arc! Yuji vs. Yuta, Megumi vs. Reggie and of course... Maki vs EVERYONE. We are back to talking about Star Wars as the latest animated adventure has hit, Maul: Shadow Lord. Taking place between the end of Clone Wars and the start of Star Wars Rebels and all the dark things Maul has gotten up-to sense the fall of Mandalor. Anime Movie Night is here again and we cover the whole original Bubblegum Crisis! We watched all 8 OVA's over a few weeks and I even bought a Blu-Ray copy of it because the animation is so gorgeous to look at. It's also just great to have an HD version of Hurricane I can fire up any time I want.

Atlanta Comedian Swafford joins us this week for a little Anime Movie Night as we talk The Boy and the Beast by Mamoru Hosoda animated by Studio Chizu. Come with us and dive into the urban fantasy exploring family, fatherhood, and the trauma of abandonment. This movie explores it in contemporary as well as fantastical ways. We have noticed even people who didn't much care about Vox Machina are really enjoying Mighty Nein and with good reason. A Disney channel classic from the early 2000's, Kim Possible was a highly successful tween action hit that the Disney Channel... kind of hated? They didn't ever seem to want to give the show a fair shake despite it being highly successful and a hit with fans, parents and a down right good time. Toon in and let's talk about KIM POSSIBLE!

To Be Hero X, a Chinese Anime, may very well be the show of the YEAR for 2025. This amazing take on modern superheroes takes you into a bunch of different forms of animation, story telling, mystery and insane action. To Be Hero X has really hit all the right spots for me and some of the best character arc stories the medium has to offer. Let's toon in to Hero X!

Predator is getting some franchise treatment as of late and as part of that this past summer we got Predator: Killer of Killers on Hulu! A semi-anthology series that links together into a very decisive direction that could revive the franchise in a brand new way bringing the future and the past of the franchise together in some stunning animation. It's Halloween! And we have a new classic re-release by studio LAIKA with ParaNorman. I went to check it out along with the brand new short cartoon "The Thrifting" an exclusive CG animated sequel short staring the titular characters of the 2012 movie. If you haven't let ParaNorman into your cult classics list run this one back and appreciate how good this story really is. Toon in now!

The brand new Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie has been breaking box offices and we get to talk about this week on Animation Destination. Despite some pacing issues this one is a real winner and I'll be interested to see it brought out in an episodic form next year. There's so much more to come in the next 4 years.

It's an ANIME CLASSIC this week on AD Podcast with 1998's Cowboy Sci-fi epic Trigun! Vash the Stampede the $$60,000,000,000,000 Man, the humanoid typhoon might be one of my all time favorite characters in anime and we get to talk about him on this episode of the podcast. Toon in for TRIGUN. Also sorry for the poor Audio quality. We had a bunch of problems with the microphones and lost 30 Mins of the end that we had to re-record weeks later. But it's DONE! 

We've been covering the arcs of Dragon Ball from time-to-time on this podcast for some time now. And we are finally at the last arc before the Saiyan Saga begins. We finally got back together to RE-RECORD our Star Wars Visions episode! With perfect audio and a full crew we are here to revisit Star Wars Visions Season 1 and see if our Rankings have UPDATED at all from the last time we talked about these mini-sodes. It's 2025 and there's a lot of discourse over the state of animation and I thought it was worth talking about it. The Day the Earth Blew Up has a very shaky history leading up to it's release earlier this year and it has lead to Ketchup Entertainment acquiring the rights to Coyote vs Acme. The previous year was filled with animation triumphs and animation mishaps. Let's talk about all of it as a whole and see where they state of animation truly is in 2025.

Pixar's Win or Lose is the first TV (or rather streaming) series from the studio and man do they hit it out of the park! Following the little league softball team The Pickles we see different perspectives from one week of events through the eyes and anxieties from different members of the team. It's a great concept and some of the most solid execution from a studio that, in my opinion has been losing a lot of it's magic. But they've got it back now and this one is a homerun! This may be the best season of Invincible to date as Mark's duty to protect Earth from the Viltrumite Empire is put to the ultimate test. That as well as the morality of being an all-powerful hero with dangerous villains threatening people he cares about, how does he handle them?

Dragon Ball DAIMA is the latest addition to the Dragon Ball Saga and the final adaptation in which Akira Toriyama was heavily involved. This 20 episode series is the swan song of the series creator and it's a fun-loving romp for any DB fans out there. Toon in now and have listen to our discussion on Dragon Ball DAIMA!

Lord of the Rings War of the Rohirrim wasn't hyped or really talked about even by Warner Bros Discovery, and it wasn't lighting critics up either. But that doesn't stop it from being a beautiful new adaptation from a little known story in the LOTR Universe. With a talented director and gorgeous art design that sucks you right back into the Peter Jackson trilogy Rohirrim takes home some strong thumbs up from this crew. Toon in now!

Castlevania Nocturne is back with season 2 and what an exciting season it is! The sequel series is certainly carrying the tradition of the original with subsequent seasons being better and better! The action and animation of this series has hit new levels along with better themes and the return of a series favorite character. Toon in now!
