Episode 44 - If I Was a Cat I Wouldn't Eat Soup
They say a picture is worth a 1000 words. I find that hard to believe, since this anime has no spoken words, and only a handful of ones written. But perhaps it's what is not said that gives this anime if flavor...and flavor is important in soup. See what I did there? As you may have seen…

Episode 43 - Fuck Counting by Seasons & D Stands for Delay
So I asked a question, no one answered. So i said, why bother waiting for the answer? As of now I'm keeping track of episodes the normal way. Sure it was cooler to have seasons, but it was more or less just a harder way to count things. So, now on episode 43, I tackle Vampire Hunter D, the first...

S2 Ep 24 - Shit Megami Tensei OVA
Shin Megami Tensei, or as it's called in Canada, Shit On My Tent-Eh? If you've played the games you'll burn your eyes out from the trash you're about to watch. Like most anime based off games, The Megaten anime suffers from the same crap syndrome, but in a much more severe case. Download |Email |...

For this installment, I talk about a golden boy who wants all the pretty women around him. No, I’m not talking about Bill Clinton. I’m talking a look at Production IG.’s masterpiece, Golden Boy. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, but most of all you’ll want to watch this series. So take a gander at it…

S2 Ep 21 - Mamoru Hosoda
This episode by far, has been the hardest, longest, and most amazing adventure that I’ve had in my time with anime. As you can assume from the tardiness of the episode, production took a lot longer than expected, but I feel it was totally worth it. This episode I discuss director Mamoru Hosoda…

S2 Ep20 - Blue Flames of Passion!
For this episode, I review Blue Flames. Damn that shit is horrible. Sorry for another late episode, work is a pain, and getting any quiet time is next to impossible, but being the awesome guy I am i managed. So please, enjoy the show. Download 0:00 – 1:34 Grateful Days – Dragon Ash 1:34 – 6:17…

S2 Ep19 - RIP Trava a New One
My second episode with the Mike Dent style news segment. Yes, there was a lack of clips with the Trava review, mainly because 1) it's not that great and its never been dubbed and 2) there's nothing awesome about it to share. Yeah, the show was that great. I think the real highlight of the show is...

S2 Ep18 - Having Seven Balls is Better Than One

S2 Ep16 - Hentai in the Air of Godannar
With all the guests I’ve been having recently, I should rename the show from Animeshon, to ‘Josh and Friends’ Amazing Anime Podcast’. That being said, with me is Chris Stanton from the kickass SHAFT webshow. I had one of the guys from SHAFT on before, if you recall the Anime Asylum Podcast (plans...

S2 Ep15 - Thursday on Friday w/ CJ Hitchcock
I was lucky enough to have CJ Hitchcock from Anime Movie Review to help me talk about Katsuhiro Otomo’s anthology, Memories. Please excuse the background noise; don’t worry, it’s not World War III. Make sure you visit CJ’s site, and watch his videos. Download tweetmeme_url = ''; Opening 0:00 –…

Anime Asylum #1
It's no secrect, I'm crazy. And equaly not a secrect is that Thomas Matis is just as crazy. So what happenes when you put both of us in a cage to fight? This does. Since this is an experamental podcast I don't have any shownotes up, and if I did they'd look like this: 0:00 - 1:01:23 - We fight…

S2 Ep14 - Busting the Mecha Gun
This episode is literally hot off the press. Recorded, edited, and posted all in the same day, not to mention that I finished watching the review anime in the same day as well. That anime in question is Gunbuster, a short little show from GAINAX. Since last recording my Snap Judgements has been...

S2 Ep12 - Building My Castle
With everyone heading off to AX, I sat alone and talked to myself for an hour and reviewed a classic. Exciting huh? Not to worry, while you’re out on the con floor, or stuck in a boring panel pop this episode in. Big thanks to the ADD for letting me be part of the team, so do them justice and go...

S2 Ep11 - DevilScans
As you can probobly notice, I have a bit of a cold, so don’t be surprised when you start listening if you hear James Earl Jones in place of my sultry, voluptuous voice that you’re all used to. Recording New vs Old episodes I realized that I didn’t know as much I would like about older anime and...
