Are We Gunner Do It?

With Cal back from his holidays, the pod returns. We reflect on the season so far -is Declan Rice the best all-round midfielder in the world right now? There's the eight clean sheets on the bounce, the impact of our new signings, players of the season so far, the threat of Man City and the usual bang average banter. 

We're back! On this episode of the pod we both weigh in on the hotly discussed Arsenal midfield selection from our 1-1 draw at home to Manchester City in the Premier League last weekend, as well as discuss the form of Martinelli and Trossard - and their 'super subs' status in the team. We look ahead to the Newcastle game, discuss team selection and whether we can end our losing steak there, and much much more. 

On this episode of the pod we give an in-depth reaction and analysis to the 1-0 loss away to Liverpool. We look ahead to our home fixture against Nottingham Forrest as well as discuss the Eze signing and his brief - but impressive - debut appearance as a Gunner. 

In this cheeky bonus podcast episode the boundaries are pushed as Oli interviews his brother Max - who unfortunately supports Liverpool - for some rival analysis and something generally a bit different. Ahead of Arsenal's trip to Anfield we try to set a record on how many times the word 'bro' can be said in a single podcast episode, as well as a little bit of football chat covering both teams, the EPL generally, and a sprinkle of standard rival banter. 

Warning this is a longer episode than usual! We got so caught up in the anticipation of the new season ahead that we went on a bit of deep dive. We discuss if we need to win a trophy this year in order for the season to a "success", and how Gyokeres will handle life in the Premier League and the expectation placed upon his shoulders. We're back to get stuck into what has been a busy summer so far of transfer activity for Arsenal. We discuss the deals have been done so far - Zubimendi, Norgaard and Kepa. As well as the imminent arrivals - none other than Victor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke, and Mosquera. We also discuss who could be departing and there's some chat as well on the Women's team and their transfer activity so far.

We discuss our players, goals, and moments of the season - as well as discussing the Women's Champions League triumph. In the second half of the episode there's some early summer transfer talk and we weigh-in on the Gyökeres / Šeško debate.  

PSG Preview Episode: Not too much else to say on this one. We discuss whether the team can follow in the footsteps of the Women's team and turn the tie around in France after losing the first leg of our Champions League semi-final at home 1-0. 

The Declan Rice plaudits continue as we discuss our second leg victory vs Real Madrid. We preview the semi-final against PSG as well as discuss potential team changes and our recent form in the Premier League. 

We overcome some technical issues whilst recording to re-live the famous 3-0 win in the first-leg of our Champions League tie versus Real Madrid. We chat about the Declan Rice free-kicks, and look ahead to a massive second-leg away in Madrid on Wednesday. 

We're back with another episode (finally)! We dive into the delight of having Saka back but the huge blow of losing Gabriel, and potentially Timber, to injury after beating Fulham 2-1. We discuss how big of an impact this will have ahead of our Champions League clash against Real Madrid next week, as well as the usual random chat.

In what was an eventful game, we react to the 2-2 draw away to Manchester City: The first half, sending off, and the second half defensive performance. We also briefly chat Bolton in the Carabao Cup, and preview our home game to Leicester City this weekend. 

In this episode we talk about our third win in a row away to Sp*rs - the performance and stand-out players. We also preview what will be a tough trip to the Etihad to face City, as well as how the team might look going forward for the next couple of months without Ødegaard.
