While I plan a separate episode going deeper into that, it feels urgent to remember the divine alchemy necessary for each of us to find deeper peace and alignment; that is the union of our opposites, the integration of our light and shadow, finding ebb and flow of our own divine "masculine" and divine "feminine." This is a pretty esoteric solo episode and view into the noodle soup of my mind, and it's all very far from perfect or complete but I do hope it provides some deeper understanding and brings balance to what has felt like a lopsided conversation. Everyone is talking about Twin Flames and so are we! In the 1970's, Shakti Gawain and Marc Allen founded New World Library as a way to synthesize and share all of the information they were learning and absorbing as "workshop junkies." Founded in the Bay Area, literally the womb of the New Age Movement - New World Library is now a thriving force in book publishing. Guilted into completing what would become a classic, Shakti wrote, "Creative Visualization; Use the Power of Your Imagination to Create What You Want in Your Life." Published in 1978, the book quickly became an "underground" hit and then exploded when Oprah interviewed Shakti in the 1980's. Shakti became an accomplished author of many books, an inspirational speaker and teacher who was constantly curious and open to exploring new techniques and ideas. Though Shakti passed in 2018, her teachings and voice are still vibrant and relevant - my intention in this episode is to share her incredible light and legacy. I feel beyond blessed to have met Marc Allen and chat with him about his own Spiritual experiences, the birth of New World Library and his long friendship with Shakti. He gives real insight into the special moment in time that birthed seekers like he and Shakti and has some incredible stories to tell. I've spent months preparing (I even read over 300pages of "Awaken the Giant Within" by Anthony Robbins!). But in the end, I realized that the best way to make relatable the seemingly mysterious business of manifesting was to share people I know who manifest with ease and have them tell how they do it. In this episode, we discuss our favorite spiritual tools; those items we use to enhance and experience our spiritual life.  From different types of incenses, to candles and Florida Water we talk about different ways we incorporate different spiritual tools into our personal practices.
