Armenia Travel Podcast with Aram Petrosyan

Armenia Travel Podcast follows one resident as he settles in corners of a country that is small enough to learn slowly and mountainous enough to keep surprising. Travelling here means moving between dry river valleys, volcanic highlands, and forestless slopes where the light changes quickly. The arcs the host follows run from Yerevan’s cafe courtyards to Gyumri’s black tuff streets, then out to Lake Sevan’s windswept shores and down into the Aras River valley. He does not stay on the tourist route; he returns to provincial towns and high pastures that most visitors pass through. The podcast is arranged by seasons rather than by checklist. He rents a flat, learns a route, and lets each place change across the year: spring mud in the valleys, hot dry summers, a sudden snow that seals a mountain pass. Slowly, a map of Armenia forms from repeated visits.Aram Petrosyan lives in Armenia and stays for two years, moving between cities, coastlines and smaller towns on a

ABOUT THIS SHOW

Armenia Travel Podcast follows one resident as he settles in corners of a country that is small enough to learn slowly and mountainous enough to keep surprising.
