Armor of Light
by David Isaac Jones
As men, we are too often pulled in every other direction as life does what it does. There are far too many teachings, philosophies, fast philosophies, notions, quick phrases, concepts, theologies, and ideologies for us to choose from, and decide on which one we can establish a sure, certain, firm, and unshakeable foundation for ourselves and our lives - whether that be for our mental and physical fitness, our financial wellness, our relationships and interpersonal connections, emotional well-being, and most importantly, our soul and spirit - so we tend to become exhausted and/or discouraged by the plethora of options, decisions to be made, and the high demand upon us in our lives and circumstances, in contrast to what we feel the capacity of our spirit and the willpower of our soul can bear. Little do many of us know, our greatest capacities and abilities to excel, succeed, and endure all things skillfull

God's Giving You The Microphone!
We are in a season of elevation, wherein God is giving His children the mic, which comes with a stack of seeds to sow and a vast field of land to nurture. This means that God is entrusting His children with a critical task that is crucial for the integrity of the plants of harvest that must thrive to be able to fulfill their particular role in this season, and the seasons to come. The responsibility of someone entrusted with a microphone is always to do good with that microphone, or in other words, amplification. Will what you say with your mouth bring you shame and disgrace or bring praise and glory to God when amplified to those who hear you? The latter should always be the goal and manner in which we conduct ourselves.I'd like to share a quick tidbit of information; studies have shown that when we speak negatively to a plant, or when a plant is in a space where negative speech, behavior, language, and more are normal, they tend not to thrive nearly as much as those who are in positive, life-speaking environments. Therefore, you may be wondering, what does that mean to us as Christians? Well, it means a lot, such as; when the Lord entrusts you with a microphone, that comes with the stipulation that you use that microphone to speak life over the growing plants and harvest of His crop - the seeds He has sown in the earth of faith in Him. When these seeds spring forth into blossoming trees, the environment that they are surrounded by must be constructive and conducive to their needs. God calls us to be the salt and the Light of the earth. In ancient times, the salt of the Dead Sea was used to promote the growth of harvest plants and simultaneously sterilize any bad bacteria in the soil. Light is 100% a must when growing any plant, especially a strong, fruit-bearing tree! Therefore, in order to get the most out of receiving elevation in this season by being given influence, a following, and an amplified voice, we must be the Salt and the Light of the earth - changing our environments by promoting life, light, and truth, and sterilizing infectious bacteria, death, and eradicating darkness by simply being ourselves - made new and whole by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and walking out His righteous ways and in His will, all for the grace and Glory of God, and all for the sake and glory of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
